Season ticket collection
Not sure if I've missed it anywhere social media wise but does anyone know when season tickets will be available to collect. Not long until it all kicks off now.
Cheers

Re: Season ticket collection
Thats a shame if so. I remember the terrace package put together a few years ago with a couple of badges and the season ticket, felt like taking small steps towards a more professional set up. I understand the cost saving for the club behind it but small touches go a long way
Re: Season ticket collection
Available next week I am told
Re: Season ticket collection
Hi Tony,
Thanks for the email.
Yes, this is partially true.
As we print them out every season we’ve found more and more people not collecting them and now we have an official fan app for your phone where you can store your Season Ticket.
So we are going to print the cards for those that what one then still what the physical card.
regards
The above is from Dave Pointer

I cycled to Holker St from Roose on Tuesday and got soaked in the process only to be told to call back next week when they should be available.
As for having a ticket on your phone.I have been stood in the queue behind people who do this and by the time they have finally got the app up on their phone you could probably get at least six people through.Personally it would be a bad idea to scrap physical tickets ,on the other hand if the club wants to go down this root, why just not install facial recognition cameras attached to an automatic turnstile, you could then walk through without any hold up.
If you wanted to go the whole hog you could have a virtual office where you book everything online and then with the money saved that money could be ploughed back into the club.
Only joking of course. It is they staff and the volunteers that have helped to put Barrow AFC on the map.Long may they continue.

Re: Season ticket collection
If you have bought a season ticket, and have the BarrowAFC app, the season ticket is on it ,it's a simple process !, as for being held up by queues we'll last season ( popular side) it was easy to get in NEVER saw delays in fact the delays if any were people with physical tickets!
You can still get a physical ticket BUT the club are obviously trying to cut costs etc ,I'm no spring chicken but it's now much simpler to get in !

This has happened to me too. The problem is they wait until they are at the turnstile before loading the app instead of being prepared beforehand.Personallly I like something tangible for my money such as a physical season ticket. The option for both should always be there imo.Methuselah wrote: ↑Sat Jul 19, 2025 12:58 ami_bluebird_ wrote: ↑Fri Jul 18, 2025 12:03 pm Not sure if I've missed it anywhere social media wise but does anyone know when season tickets will be available to collect. Re: Season ticket collection
Bradford City are this season charging supporters £10 for a physical season ticket Altrincham £5 That's not the way to go IMO but appears quite a few clubs are.saltcellar wrote: ↑Sat Jul 19, 2025 10:16 amCertainly for people who don't have a mobile phone.Main Stand SeasonTct wrote: ↑Sat Jul 19, 2025 10:11 am

Re: Season ticket collection
Seems reasonable. There's an extra cost/effort involved.

Re: Season ticket collection
It's a slippery slope that I hope we don't go down. The latest terminology ive heard regarding event tickets is "fulfilment fees" being charged for digital or print at home tickets. Its just another way to squeeze more money from the customer IMO.

Re: Season ticket collection
If we don't move forward with technology etc we'll fail behind whether you like it or not football is a business people seem to want everything for nothing, our club is looking to become sustainable and to keep costs to a minimum our ticket pricing is very reasonable but people still winge, we either back the club or we'll slip back to non league, does anyone really want that ?Main Stand SeasonTct wrote: ↑Sat Jul 19, 2025 11:34 amIt's a slippery slope that I hope we don't go down.
