Hi Tony,
Thanks for the email.
Yes, this is partially true.
As we print them out every season we’ve found more and more people not collecting them and now we have an official fan app for your phone where you can store your Season Ticket.
So we are going to print the cards for those that what one then still what the physical card.

regards

The above is from Dave Pointer
That's not really answered my question. So if I go in the club shop this week will they physically print the ticket card while I'm there?

And that was my point!, hope you don't want to attend any large concerts, whether people like it or not someone has to pay for these !
I'm paying for them. I've bought 3 season tickets.

Have to agree with that.I,ve supported Barrow AFC since the early 1960s .If the worst comes to the worst I,ll take a photo of my digital ticket ,print it off, laminate it and present it at the turnstile.Surely they cannot refuse that.I have always picked my ticket up.and over the years put a lot of money through the club. Its our generation that kept supporting Barrow AFC through some of its darkest days.

This is poor communication from the club. The 1st I heard of this was on here. What about older supporters and the less tech savvy? Nobody has still told me how I get a physical Season Ticket Card. Do I have to request one in advance, do I just go to the club shop and they sort it there and then, how do I get a physical Card ??

I have the ticket on my phone and usually have plenty of charge but getting caught with a flat battery is the problem
Just say no to VAR :sentoff:

I paid for my season ticket on 6th May and having been informed at the time that I would be notified when it would be available to be picked up.Since then there seems to have been a change.I cycled there last Tuesday only to be told to call back next week when they would be available,so I,m going next week to ask for my physical ticket.I suggest anyone who wants one should do the same.

If only there were a modern electronic system whereby one could contact the ticket office to request a physical copy.

Just read through all this.Must admit came as surprise as I too was under impression announcement would be made when cards could be collected as per usual.Dont want another app on my phone.Sometimes I don’t take my phone with me as I perhaps have left it at home charging up or have simply forgotten it.Sometime phone signals are slow or fail.Always have my season ticket in wallet with me.I agree with others we should always have the choice as to which form of ticket we want.Smacks of more social exclusion of people who aren’t tech savvy or like me don’t want too much info on my phone.I lost a phone once was very traumatic it never turned up and I was lucky it never found its way into criminals hands.I want a season tkt card please Dave Pointer and like a previous poster has been repeatedly asking do we have to come in next week to collect one?

No everyone who doesn't have a physical one is subsidising yours !😀
Since when? Since someone decided to say a physical season ticket is now classed as an extra?

I just hope the club actually put a statement out telling us exactly how those who want a physical card can actually get one because the first I heard about this was on this forum which is a disgrace really. If the club has suddenly changed something that has happened for years, surely they should communicate this better than they have!

This is 2021's pay by cash on the gate saga reborn. Famously known as cash-gate.
Popular side since '03.

Usual hysteria over nothing. A plastic card will cost pennies. Will happily pay ten pence extra. Also the only times I ever go to the club shop is when ordering and buying my season ticket, buying cup tickets and buying away tickets. The shop would suffer from massively reduced footfall if plastic tickets were scrapped.
