Brilliant performance tonight undone by a stupid mistake.I thought we could have pushed them all the way to penalties,but it wasn,t to be.If they play with.that tempo for the rest of the season we will win more games than we lose.Roll on Saturday..

Looked a lot better. Liked the look of Walker . Booty getting fitter. Goalie looked sound despite the mix up. Mahoney & Canavan excellent. Liked the 3 at the back. Smith and Jackson both good. Played some decent , attractive football. Need to improve again on Saturday.

Never made the game but shared the experience with Olly and come halftime a few other PNE fans that had ticked the box. Good company and a bit of banter flowed back and forth as well as a few drinks.
Best performance of the season so far for me as an offensive unit we gave it a go but sadly a defensive error cost us no blame apportioned. Worrall came in and did a job not sure if he could week in week out but rarely had a problem with his commitment or attitude. The injury situation is a big concern especially with the squad size. Hope we are not going to have a last minute panic in strengthening what we have now. As that rarely works. If Iain Wood and Andy Whing and Co have a few earmarked then get them in now as it gives us the time to work with them. Last thing we want is added pressure on our manager as we have been here before.

We're there 800 less Barrow supporters in attendance tonight than last Saturday?

Far better tonight. Braver going forward. It’d be interesting to try Walker and Cameron together.

First half we were 5 yards off them, not a yard 5. Came out and had a good go fair enough and a scabby goal killed it. But we are a long way from gotts campbell and Spence in midfield IMO.

As for the attendance, the fact it was £10 to ram down people’s throats with a full away end is baffling. Tuesday night under the lights, atmosphere, etc.

3 games in but square pegs in round holes and nothing going forward seems to be theme of the week.

It’s up to AW to make those pegs fit and I remain optimistic to that happening.
The last paragraph is my biggest concern as I expected more and hopefully he fulfills the more column in abundance before the season ends.

Played well tonight and at least deserved a draw had some really good chances were we should have scored maybe lacking a striker but a team with new players will take time to gel better to have this period now than end of season.

Popular side was definitely quieter than Saturday; lot of empty seats again (albeit that’s hard to judge because a lot of hospitality don’t take their seats) What would Barrow gain by declaring a crowd that was a 1000 less? Do you think they were squirrelling cash payments away to buy a striker?

You deserved more than you got last night, passed it better than us, the goal just one of those things, you defended well but mind you when we play the ultra slow stuff out from the back we are easy to play against.
