First 45 was best performance of season so far. 2nd half less convincing but every player showed fight and desire to close Crawley players down and throw themselves in front of shots. Fantastic win

Fewer points to the play offs than relegation zone. What a difference a few good results makes for morale ey. First half was excellent, second not so great but fought well and battled out an important 3 points

Credit where it’s due, turned it around. Honestly thought we’d hit rock bottom after that Bristol game. We were always going to improve when key players came back.

Always enjoy the summary and match analysis from Mick Payne….think we are his Northern team.

Re: Crawley Town v Barrow, match thread
Not sure how we won that but we did and that was a much needed back to back win.
First half was excellent. Second half we really need to look at how easily they were able to get crosses in. We were yards away at times and they had time to pick their spot with a cross. Some good defending and bad finishing saved us
Great to see we are getting numbers back too.

Whing identified a lot of the issues in the 2nd half were we ran out of steam with the effects of the flu bug thats wreaked havoc this weekMark Johnson wrote: ↑Sat Sep 27, 2025 6:23 pm Not sure how we won that but we did and that was a much needed back to back win.

Some players were even throwing up during the half time break.
Makes the result feel that bit better the way they rallied despite for some being dead on their feet

FORZA BLUEBIRDS, finally got over to see a game and a pretty good game at that. Really impressed with first half performance, knew second half we may struggle, but we took home the points so a Happy Bluebird here.
Always good away support for a long journey.
Let's keep winning streak going against the the Shrews next Sat. Bluebird per sempre.

Re: Crawley Town v Barrow, match thread
As others have said, first half the best we’ve played certainly so far this season.
Second half backs to the wall as we tired but everyone gave everything and as fans that’s all we can ask for.
Another 3 points on the board with every chance of 3 more next week……..but Barrow don’t do easy as we all know from past experience
