No, nearly right but it was Raglan on left wing. Apart from that it's spot on.farington blue wrote: ↑Sat Nov 01, 2025 11:28 pm Unfortunately I couldn't make today but I've just looked on the BBC Sport website.....did we really play 4-4-2 with Mahoney at right back and Harper up front!!!?

I watched the brief highlights on the BBC page, it also had Shipley down as the first goal assist. I think it was McCann.

Yes it was McCann, a beautifully placed pass, as was his pass for the second goal. Newby took his chance very well, a lovely dink. The second goal was a great move involving several players.FanzoneFan wrote: ↑Sun Nov 02, 2025 8:35 am I watched the brief highlights on the BBC page, it also had Shipley down as the first goal assist. Stanway’s save from the header was brilliant again. He also had one in the second half where the ball just seemed to stick to his hand. The only blemish was his poor pass/throw to Shipley that had Shipley stretching again, resulting in another yellow card.

Lowest team left at home is what we want.

If we dont get Carlisle away, it will be Walsall away.
Re: Spennymoor Barrow match thread
A northern team away will do. No long journeys on the Reay coaches please the lack of leg room is horrendous
Just say no to VAR

I worried when Canavan picked up that injury but Raglan has been absolutely solid ever since.Main Stand SeasonTct wrote: ↑Sat Nov 01, 2025 9:27 pmRaglan has been superb at the centre of the back three. Begs the question will Canavan get back in as things stand once fullt fit.?spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 01, 2025 9:08 pm Decent performance but one or two worrying moments when it was 0-1….we needed the second goal to ease the nerves. Hemming's had a glorious chance to score before he got the second goal luckily it didn’t cost us though.
I’m not sure how many yellows the ref managed to dish out to us in the end (four or five) and that for one of the cleanest games I’ve ever seen.
Gordon was everywhere, he deserved a goal after that performance. Raglan had another very good game, a toss up between them two for MotM.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

We haven't heard many complaints about our signing donkeys in recent weeks.spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 02, 2025 7:30 pm

Booty is still poor going on his performance against forest but the rest of them seem to be firing on all cylinders. Love to see it.Jim wrote: ↑Sun Nov 02, 2025 8:03 pmWe haven't heard many complaints about our signing donkeys in recent weeks.spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 02, 2025 7:30 pm

Regarding the lack of leg room I have to agree with that.I,m not the tallest of people, but I had to sit with my legs facing into the corridor. My knees starting aching quite badly and that was the only way I could stretch my legs.Apart from that the coach was quite good with phone charging on every seat.I think the seats though are far too close to each other.I think going down south the coaches will have to have more leg room.

Spot on, it's bad enough for people who are fit and healthy, for people like me with arthritis in knees, it's awful.Methuselah wrote: ↑Mon Nov 03, 2025 8:31 amRegarding the lack of leg room I have to agree with that.I,m not the tallest of people, but I had to sit with my legs facing into the corridor. My knees starting aching quite badly and that was the only way I could stretch my legs.Apart from that the coach was quite good with phone charging on every seat.I think the seats though are far too close to each other.I think going down south the coaches will have to have more leg room.

I always find the BBC Sport website to be very accurate when it comes to our home matches but that’s not the case for away games. Presuming Adam you do all the home matches and it’s left to your colleagues from other local stations when we’re away. As an aside how do you have time to do the stats and commentate at the same time ?farington blue wrote: ↑Sat Nov 01, 2025 11:28 pm Unfortunately I couldn't make today but I've just looked on the BBC Sport website.....did we really play 4-4-2 with Mahoney at right back and Harper up front!!!?
