Sun looked like it was right in our eyes first half.. contributing factor to the decision making of stanway if he lost flight of the ball?

If he stayed where he was they might not have scored. Him starting to come made the forwards mind up for him.
Listening to Andy Whing on Radio Cumbria he blamed himself for us going two down. He said once he saw their line up he should have changed our formation but didn’t
He stopped moving forward which part don't you understand, I was looking straight at Stanway everyone around me said the same, sometimes take off those blue tinted glasses they're clouding your judgement!
It's all about opinions Nige. Take a chill pill son ;)

You don’t see many keepers wearing caps these days to shield their eyes from the sun. IIRC Farman borrowed one once from somebody in the Holker st end during one game

David artells interview has put smile on my face. Hilarious how many sides think they're above barrow. Did we deserve to win? No, could we have won towards the end? Yes. Any side starting tyrell warren is beatable in my eyes

Given the number of appearances Warren has made in the EFL, it appears that people in the game think differently to you.

Plenty of players play in the football league that shouldn't be at the level that they're playing at, thats football. That being said if i was doing a team talk against grimsby I'd be picking him out as a weak link to get at

Spot on. Decent point for what could’ve been a disheartening loss and keeps our unbeaten streak going. Great to see Canavan back.

Thought Eccelston looked very shaky when he came on too.

Thankfully Grimsby never had a goalkeeper..
Half right Peds!
We got a bit of luck prior to halftime in Harper scoring when we had looked lost as a unit. But the manager saw where we needed changes and made them for the start of the second half and we looked a more balanced side for it.
Goalkeepers have to trust the defence in front of them and we were all over the place defensively and he was also showing defensive naivety much erratic behaviour by so many.
The introduction of Canavan brought a bit of calmness and less mistakes led to the team grinding out a deserved point that at one stage never looked likely.
The official deserved a special mention, he was incompetent full stop. Unfortunately for us they benefited from that incompetence more than we did.

Grimsby should have put the player who made a great save in the first half in net. We must be coming up over 12 months without being given a penalty

Neither did we? Both goals Stanways fault
Not sure why Stanway was not as positive clearing balls.
All I can say we are lucky they put the tea lady in goals,we will not see two mistakes like that by a goalkeeper in a game again.

Maybe because of the cluster foook of a defensive unit in front of him. He’s still young and is going to be erratic at times.
Lesson No1 for Number 1’s is don’t lose your head when those around you are doing so.
Pym was unlucky for the first goal as ball deviation made him look poor.

Heard 2 Grimsby supporters talking before the match saying that for the first time this season they were play 2 up front. Obviously their manager had seen a weakness in us. How right they were. We couldn’t cope until Whing made the changes to nullify them at half time. After that, we were completely different in attack and defence and could have won. Well done in the end.
Referee was abysmal. How he thought Gordon should have been booked is a mystery. It was also a blatant hand ball for a penalty to us too. In the end, a very good point.

Can somebody tell me what planet Dave Artell.lives on.In his interview he said they dominated the game for 90minutes.Ok I would give Grimsby the first half but thesecond half was totally different. He said both our goals were soft goals. Was he watching a different game?He then said that Crewe were a much better team than us but haven,t we just beaten them?He seems to think.we are an inferior club to them and we have no right to.go toe to toe with them. There is a guy who.is totally deluded.
