+1
First goal did Canavan touch him yes ,was it soft yes !, should Stanway have saved it yes,
Second goal was it a penalty yes was it bad defending yes!
Third goal last man red card penalty and your calling me a joke!
Are actually agreeing that any one of them 3 warranted a foul??????
No argument on any of the comments re set up, defending, lack of ideas etc. But you cannot argue that without the referee that game probably ends 0-0. Shocking standard of refereeing and lost the plot
We hate Carlisle United, we hate Workington too (and Morecambe), we hate Accrington Stanley but Barrow we love you :scarf:

The entire night , the referee has been awful, any slight touch has gone against us, imo we started well with the wind, but such awful, constant whistle blowing is bound to have an effect on the confidence of the players. Why do you think Whing called a senior fa rep in recently about decisions? Same thing happened with Wild. Not saying it’s a conspiracy or anything, but if you were at the game you would have seen it clear as day.
I watched it on Sky, I'm not saying the referee wasn't crap but we are like Mark said really nieve at times!

This was a chance to pick up from an encouraging second half against Wigan and we’ve not done that.

We have strikers who can’t score goals, we can’t defend, we are racking up cards and suspensions. It’s a recipe for only going one way.

The performances are maybe 20 minutes spells in games but that’s not enough to win games.
It will be interesting to see what transfer business teams at the bottom do in January. I fear though that others might be able to do more than us.

Be swapping places with them at this moment in time, cant see anyone out there on that pitch who has the mentality to fight against relegation... give up as soon as we go 1 down and then put in half assed performances.

2nd half performance was absolutely gutless from Barrow. The ref had a stinker but them decisions should not gloss over the fact we have absolutely zero threat from the middle or upfront. Free fall to relegation if this carries on.

Conceded 3 set pieces tonight, conceded two set pieces at Wigan, conceded one at Newport (I can't remember their second goal). Does that suggest we are pretty well organised at stopping goals from open play? ;)

Looked ok first half, should have taken the chances and gone in in front.

Not good enough second half but without the ref, Tranmere didn't look like scoring.

Whing looked clueless on the touchline, didn't show anything, not up on his feet barking orders, didn't even look like he confronted the ref at the end of the game with any real enthusiasm or passion..

Haven’t won at home for nearly 3 months. 3rd worst home form in the league and we know what happens if you don’t win your home games. I’m not blaming the ref. Big changes needed or we’re getting relegated I’m afraid.

I've just watched the highlights yet again, that was a penalty!, Stanway should have saved that free kick, Canavan shouldn't have been anywhere near Dennis Stanway would have come out and got the ball!
People need to wake up our defence is shocking!
