Whing replacement?

No one is saying for a second that we’re a ‘poxy club with no history’ but we are small, and we’re not close to the level of many other L2 clubs in terms of money and/or infrastructure. It’s not about being negative, it’s about being realistic. Of course we’re worthy of interest, but just because we think Barrow are great but it doesn’t mean anyone else has to. And we are starting to look like a club which gets through managers because, guess what, we get through managers.

But unless we start to think differently nothing will change!

If us as fans don't believe how the hell are we expecting a coach/manager to think any different? We've heard it too many times.. punching above out weight, let's not forget who we are, our location...

Sorry, but a different mindset is what we need!

I'm not blowing smoke up IE arse but he came in and showed that a positive hard working mindset can make all the difference!
Ray Wilkie is another prime example.. he just believed and instilled that belief, we all them believed and we won the FA Trophy for the first time!

Yes, that’s all great. But we are fans and we know the club, and we do believe…but, surely, we can be honest? We’re attractive to someone wanting to break into Football League management, yes, but some of the names mentioned on here are aspirational - which is great - but hardly realistic. We’ve got other issues to sort out too (namely to Wood conundrum) before we can really kick on. For now though, we just need to get behind McDonald, and get safe.

Why are they aspirational? What, because we are barrow?
Did RW or IE come in and negotiate on that basis? No, they came here with a point to prove.. a. We are not this little cul-de-sac club, little ol' barrow.. and b. Because they refused as in individual to fall into that mindset!.

We really have gotta to start thinking differently!

We lost a big fan base through a vote.. we lost a lot of ground via a vote, we lost a lot of financial support because of a vote..

We didn't deserve this, we now have to change the mindset and get people on board who think the same!

It's not impossible because we've been lucky and had it in the not to distant past, we just need to find the right person who believes

Not really, no. Unless a war chest has been kept very low key we're not an attractive proposition for a proven manager. Since we got back in the league we've appointed a full-time manager who lasted eight games for example. I get why the board have done what they've done when they've done it but some of the names being mentioned on here are ridiculous.

I'd be delighted with League 2 mediocrity. Every season we are a League club lifts my heart.

Firstly the little old Barrow is a positive it lulls teams into thinking we are a easy touch and we have been but that does not mean we have to be.
Jon Brady has only had two clubs but seems to be able to steady the ship.
We need someone to organise things at the club .
Wood has been portrayed as competent because he was a agent .
He needs to go too we need a experienced administrator .

If Job Brady was chosen we train in Manchester so it's less than 3 hours from Northampton.
Neil Mcdonald is probably more competent than Jason Taylor keep him as interim Manager .
We need a target man and better structure .
I have this horrible feeling we may look at someone line Andy Cook who seems to be out of favour but not sure he could do anything.
Also need to clear out a few players like Innes Cameron and a few others.
This team looks like the team who took us out of the league .
The only difference was we had good players but they were to busy training in the 99 club.

Unfortunately whilst wood is here we won’t be getting anyone decent in. Will either be a yes man or an appointment on the cheap. Love the shouts of someone like Steve evans, a man who can put together a nasty team that knows how to win
