All the goals were shocking first Raglan is caught ball watching then heads it across the area BUT we can still clear it first Jackson makes hardly any effort to close down the guy and Shipley just looks at him, second Whitfield doesn't come to close the attacker down but he's not a defender!, third Harper is beaten at the far post with an embarrassing challenge but even then we have enough defenders to clear the ball but again indecision has cost us !
Trouble being when you have a back 3 someone has to take charge but we just leave it for someone else to do it ,these goals are shocking but it's happening every week, Raglan looked totally dejected in his post match interview, I fear the worst here not being melodramatic but it's a shambles from top to bottom, no longterm plan and a playing strategy for a group of player's who can't or won't play it !

Sometimes I wonder if the backroom staff don’t get them fit enough to prevent getting injured, or make it less likely.
Re: Crewe Alexandra v Barrow, match thread
can see Crawley turning up and snatching the points - bobbins, I too fear the worst.
Re: Crewe Alexandra v Barrow, match thread
When you see Raglan lining up as your captain you know you’re in trouble. We’re lumbered with him on a two year contract and he’s not good enough, far too many mistakes and offers no leadership. Watch the body language after each goal - awful.
First goal he’s bullied and Shipley doesnt close down from a long ball, second it’s a simple pass inside and our line is all over the place with raglan trying to play offside and then Whitfield caught out in a position he should never be playing in - how many times he that been said. The third is pathetic all round, the goals are a disgrace. Losing too many headers and contacts, no challenges…
Midfield we look tidy enough and move it well at times and yes we’re short upfront injuries haven’t helped, but our defence and defensive shape is woeful and has been all season. Hopefully the return of Canavan at Swindon and the two new boys will be bedded in by then and that will improve us because let’s be honest can’t get any worse than that yesterday. Huge job for Gallagher but it’s down to basics again, organisation and players not doing their jobs.
Raglan and Shipley need dropped and we need that right back in sooner, and players to do their jobs regardless of whether we play 3 or 4 at the back. If you can’t do the basics then you’ll not get anything.

Re: Crewe Alexandra v Barrow, match thread
It’s patently obvious we all love our club dearly, we all have our different opinions and it’s great therapy that we can share them on here.
I’m even more concerned regarding relegation than our first season back. We need more than ever a War Cabinet to plan our way to safety, we need to plan to be top of a mini league and try and give the club some momentum.
We as supporters have to play a major part in that but so does the club leadership.
We need them more than ever to be open honest and upfront about how we go forward together.
To not be aware of what’s happening is criminal in my opinion.
Build it they will come or say nowt and hope for the best, come on we are Barrow we’re better than that.
