Surely the biggest reason for not going down the 3G route is that, apart from an odd ground or two, we play on grass.

So train on grass.

Just seen this reckon if winterbottom had been fit a deal might of been done

If the money is right a deal will be done you’d imagine. Every player has his price. Just bring a short term loan keeper in until winterbottom is fit we have 3 keepers on the books

I would imagine if the fee gets near what we have in mind it won’t matter that Winterbottom is injured; MK Dons probably hoping to get him on the cheap (relatively!)

If you used Etaluku's transfer fee as a guide, you'd imagine MK's initial bid would be in the region of £2.5 million.

Does Stanway have any sell on fee that would go to Chester if we did sell him, may be a reason for holding out for more if there has been a bid rejected

Sounds like we'll need something similar to make a decent profit off him further down the line
