I really wonder what folk expect. We have Hemmings and Walker injured two forwards that if fit we would probably have looked to offload this month to free up some cash. Harrogate ain’t exactly signed a marquee forward Aquah and a lad released by Truro who are looking like relegation candidates from the National league
If the forward being named is who we sign he must have something about him with league one Stevenage taking him from Gateshead for a fee on a two year deal
We signed Rose for a fee proven in league 2 he won’t be playing for peanuts

I agree but some of the manager suggestions were equally ambitious.

If he can stay fit till the end of the season even just that will be a big improvement on most of our attacking options

It was only 12 months ago that people were doing exactly the same about a loan striker from Stevenage. Four months later most wanted him on a permanent! Stevenage had seen enough to sign Malcolm for a fee in the summer.

That's because we're in a serious position and listen I hope he does well but it's another shot in the dark and to be honest if he's not to play as a striker can't see the point !

We've paid money for a few players and brought more in on loan (potentially 1 more)
The club isn't loaded and the Manager obviously has seen these lads play so lets get behind them.

Not sure a 20 year old centre half is what we need in a relegation battle. Hopefully we have uncovered another gem from forest like when Yates came here. Good to see he’s made the europa league squads as well
