Danny very unlucky with hitting the woodwork, different game if that goes in, brilliant goal by Walker apart from that very poor we appear unable for whatever reason to grind out a result. Senior players lack composure and we didn’t even threaten an equaliser when it should’ve been the Alamo.

We need experience management and pronto, so sorry for Gally but it hasn’t worked out and doesn’t look like it will anytime soon.

I doubt there will be another manager this season. Realistically it’s 2 of Barrow, Newport and Harrogate going down. So let’s try to keep the faith. Win the next 2 games at home (or more realistically get 4 points) and who knows ?

Really can’t see the manager getting the boot so soon after being appointed, no matter how much we might think it’s what needs to happen. Also - and this really is trying to find a sliver of something positive amongst the dross - we have got more than enough games to pick up the points we need. The upshot is we rushed into the appointed of an inexperienced manager at a time when we probably needed experience, and now that’s showing. We’d have done better with some old school battler who knew a few tricks and had done it before. We’ve brought in mainly younger lads who won’t have had to scrap like we need them to scrap now. whilst - at the same time - our older heads are looking poor. It’s a perfect storm basically. We just have to hope that we can pick up enough points from somewhere and that a couple of teams are more dreadful than we are; limp on ‘til the end of the season, survive, and go again.

We’ve lost 6 in a row and won 1 of the last 14 and haven’t won at home since September. I’d love to keep the faith but realism says Colchester will be too good for us and Harrogate will sneak a 1-0.

I wanted so, so badly for us to get something. But we were awful all over the park.

We tried to get behind them but there are limits. And the two goals right after half time were it for me. Its tge same thing, sgain and sgain.

I had promised not to lose it again but I did. Most of those players have no idea. Weve had no coherent plan all season, barely a second ball has been won. Our decision making is woeful.

Off the park its a circus.

And while I get how awful it must be when its a relative or mate getting stick, the cold hard facts are if we line up in the national league those people wont be there, and neither will these players. And playing local football does nor make you any sort of an expert.

Awful, awful night. Never felt worse about it to be honest.

Going to stay calm and collected with this one so the gestapo don’t ban me again. Teams a bunch of cowards and they’re playing a system their minds can’t comprehend and the pe teacher in charge hasn’t the foggiest of what to do. Ian wood needs to be binned off the blokes a conman, had the owners pants down, absolute mess. Malcolm and rose look absolutely pony, but in fairness what are they meant to do when the team behind them has a combined iq of 20. I very rarely call for a manager to be sacked but the guy is totally out of his depth. He better not mention the stats again grrrr

Two years of struggling almost since Wild left and poor managerial appointments, poor recruitment and no real plan it seems on or off the pitch.

Even in the past under Kelly and Cooper we had some quality in the team that you could count on, Quigley, Rooney even Kay could pop up with goals and defensively we were tight. Whitfield aside we have no genuine quality in the team right now, it’s as poor a squad as we’ve had since we’ve been in the league. There’s players in there with some ability but they’ve never shown it ala Harper, Mahoney, Barkhuizen and they are on a steep decline in their careers….too many others just not up to it and it past their best.
We lack any character or leaders…no men and it’s no environment for young loan players.

There was probably a few question marks when Gallagher got the job and made a lot of young signings, it wasn’t what was needed. Will anyone else be able to undo the mess and put it right?

Shouldve sacked Whing in September when Rob Kelly came in, that papered over cracks. It was clear he was out of his depth then and his signings were rubbish. We had a chance then to get someone decent in rather than midway through when we were a less attractive proposition and other managers were in work or looking for better offers.
We needed experience and leadership on and off the pitch, instead we went from two young coaches in Whing and Pead to another two young ones with even less or zero managerial experience….
What is it they say about insanity and doing the same thing over?

Hard to see where a point will come from let alone a win, morale and confidence is low and I can’t see how PG will change that, if anything we’re worse off than when MacDonald left us.
