We're on our 5th manager of the season & the results are continuing to be the same.
Common denominator is, surprise surprise, the players that have been recruited.
Nowhere near good enough for this level.

It’s not just recruitment. It’s also about retention. Emile Acqua anyone ? Not brilliant but Scored more goals last year than the whole bunch of this seasons cohort combined . Every decision this board has made in the last 2 seasons has been catastrophic.

I know we have lots and lots of various issues but there can’t be a team in the history of football that wins as few second balls as us surely? It’s every single game

We really need to be planning for the National League and identifying managers now.. Once relegation is confirmed, have them already be looking at players THEY want

In a way, for the sake of our future the sooner relegation is confirmed the better.

Gifted all 3 goals and could easily have had a point tonight. McCann has 2 chances, 1 absolute sitter. Shipley chance saved on the line. Newby made a difference but squandered 2 great runs into the box by being selfish and blasting miles over when we had players waiting. We're not gone yet !

Safe journey home to supporters could hear you singing .Mcann should have done better with that chance and as for Stanway that error just killed any faint hope I had of getting something out of game.Awful result tho we improved second half but the miss and the howler did for us.could cry but result still be the same

Agree. Attendances will be way under 2,000 next season. After the home games we’ve had to endure, be lucky to get the same amount renewing their season tickets. Be way down!

Lower revenue, so recruitment will have to be more about lower paid players, on the rise, with the right attitude and wanting to prove a point. Which is exactly what we need.

There is not one other side in the bottom 4 where the fans have given up on them. We give up and that is it.

This is not going to be easy. Last game, if we are still in with a chance, then that might be what it comes down to. Please stick with it. They need support.

It’s really upsetting to watch the games now, knowing that the result is odds on to be the same. We know we have issues all over the park, but we have the team we have. Passing, second balls, no target player, etc, etc - our quality is lacking.
I’m still not giving up the belief but it’s getting hard to stay positive.

It's mentioned would the players want to stay? Genuinely no league 2 club is looking at any of this lot except maybe mccann and saying theyre good enough to play league 2 next year
