I'd say, the reason Bromley and similar clubs like Barnet are more successful than a club like Barrow is purely down to the fact that the pool of talent in the wider London area is huge whereas the pool of talent available to Barrow is very small. London and other large cities have a huge advantage over clubs in small provincial towns because there are so many players who play at lower EFL level who can join a club without moving home.
Fair comment, Bromley also have significant investment behind them at the moment, something we have been seeking for some time to no avail. Also our 'hybrid' set-up is not really conducive to reserve or youth teams. It is what it is and probably all down to money.
