What have we got to lose ?
Nothing, everyone including myself thinks we’re down and with our current points total we should be, but love him or hate him Niall Canavan’s after match interview sums up our current situation.
8 matches, 8 games and it’s still in our hands, how, considering the garbage we’ve produced this season is nothing short of a bloody miracle but it’s a fact.
As Niall says “ What have we got to lose “ the pressure is no longer on us let’s go and finally win some games and play with a bit of pride and self respect.

Naz needs to play in midfield with pace behind him.

He’s been saying we need to stop talking and start acting for months and months … nothing happens , he’s the biggest waffler I’ve seen. Talks absolute [SwearFilter].
He has been horrendous this season and talks a good game but he’s done.
I’d have dropped him months ago , shame to see one of Barrows best defenders in my lifetime go down like this but he’s done.

I’ve been thinking that for some time. Play him in a holding central midfield role.

Just get rid he's useless.
Re: What have we got to lose ?
In all honesty there has been to much bullshit.
The media team posting photos look who is back.
Let's have a media blackout or better still post a photo laziest player of the week.
I don't mind if we loose and we've tried but in all honesty alot of these players have no pride in the job they do.
Danny Rose works his socks off and I bet he thinks what have I got myself into.
Stanway needs dropping shell shocked.

We need a new Manager and these players need to stop chewing coffee cups like babies and act like grown men Grow a set of balls and buckle down for their most important time in their football careers. Drop canavan hes Finnished.
Re: What have we got to lose ?
Lot of criticism of Canavan some of which is a bit unfair I think, for me McDonald has been poor overall since he came.
At fault for Cheltenham's first albeit his debut and not fit, nearly let Stockton in at Salford, let Cook go for the first goal yesterday and then stood off the man instead of going out to him for their second. Probably still isn't 100% fit but I think you can see why no one had rushed to sign him up before us...
Also the fullbacks have left us horribly exposed by failing to close down and stop crosses enough, Shipley the other night and J Anderson a half hearted attempt yesterday as he did in the build up to Crawleys winner too. No coincidence really that since Jackson moved over to the right our left side has looked more vulnerable - where is Brandon Powell? Neither Shipley or Joe Anderson are good enough and Newby can't defend.
Bromley are a big unit so there'll be no surprises with how they play, need to stand up and defend the box properly and stop the supply. Otherwise we could be in for a battering like yesterday and the management need to drill that into them this week, a full week of training ahead.

A full week of training? Hell, they'll be fit for nothing on Saturday, and will have picked up more injuries!Scott5 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2026 8:51 pm
