I'm glad others from my age group have brought up our poor attendances - and that it is not new. I remember coming up to Barrow in the sixties and was always disappointed with the attendances. In a good season it was only around an average of 3000 &even in out promotion season I think it was around 4500ish. Don't ask me why I too have no answer. Its always noticeable that Accrington, Fleetwood, Salford, Burton, Harrogate also, generally, have a small supporter base. It's got to be a cultural thing with all these clubs

Mentioned this previously..and it happened again on my way in to the Chesterfield game so worthy of this section.
The stewards on the Holker Street end entrance were questioning a couple of youngsters regarding their age before allowing them in.
I didn't go to the Q&A and there's undoubtedly more important issues atm but this needs addressing.
They're our future fan base and if they're not welcome at their home town club in their formative years it's little wonder they venture elsewhere.
We did have a supporters liason officer didn't we? About as effective as our attack by looks of things.

Getting back to the game, we were beaten by a far better, quicker and more organised side who were wasteful in front of goal the longer the game went on.
Got away with one there imo could and probably should been a much heavier defeat.
We go again Saturday.

Freddie is injured - went off in the defeat to Bristol Rovers

Joe was dropped after the defeat to Grimsby - he was one of the players doing a training session on the pitch after the game Saturday

Won't this have to wait until we know which league we're playing in?
