You can just about make out on the Fletcher goal the moment I jumped out my seat - punched the press box window, snapped my work lanyard and then bruised my arm preventing myself from falling in a heap on the floor

The atmosphere last night was infectious.I spent most of the game shouting myself hoarse cheering the lads on from the Popular Side .When that third goal went in it was almost as though the roof had been blown off Holker St.Everyone went crazy.Next thing I know this random guy who stands in front of me puts his arms round me and the next thing I know we are both jumping high into the air shouting like crazy.What a night,what a game.We can do this ,we deserve it.Walsall won't be a push over but we know we can beat them,so lets have more Barrow Bedlam and be celebrating again.

Obviously the gate was low because of the run we’ve been on but come on…..if you decided to give last nights game a miss, you monumentally f***** up! Don’t give up, get yourselves back on Saturday, STHs take advantage of the “bring a buddy” offer, drag relatives along, let’s get the place rocking.

The great escape is definitely on!

My wife messaged me last night saying she was in bed and could hear the Barrow Barrow Barrow chants - and we live in Hawcoat..!!!

Yes for big lad he is very fragile, he is being carried .

Cannot remember who it was against at Holker St maybe Tranmere .
He came out to the left playing towards steelworks end just let the lad run past him and they scored.
He should have fouled him ,it happens regularly.

I disagree with your analysis of Harper Pedro. If he is as bad as you suggest, perhaps you can explain to The Forum why Sam Foley continues to pick him?
Perhaps it’s because you have had a lifetime of wanting to be critical of something or someone.

I certainly do criticise people who are not good enough and he is lethargic,bottles out of challenges which leads to conceding goals and last night should have scored .
If you don't look at weaknesses and keep singing always look on the bright side of life .

Foley is picking what he thinks is his best team but he looks stressed because he cares.

He did what Harper should of done.
That's the difference between a player who thinks they are good and Fletcher who is a journey man of non league football.
Looked at Harper's league clubs very impressive and the fee he was sold for .
Looks like a Roll Royce drives like a Trabant.

Agree with all your points, our fans last night made 2k sound like 4k I’ve never felt as much pride and passion that our team delivered to us last night.

Even the main stand everyone to a person shouted their hearts out.

We need another couple of Escape to Victory moments to retain our coveted EFL status so come on Barrovians let’s make Holker Street the most inhospitable place on the planet and back our boys.

He's on loan from Walsall so can't play against them - but their season is over. Other teams have previously turned loans into permanent moves late in a season - would it be worth offering Walsall a small fee before the weekend (he doesn't seem to be in their plans) as if they accept and he became our player he'd then be free to play?

Barkhuizen has been one of the biggest disappointments amongst many for me this season. Will be on a good wage but looks like he just don’t want to be here. I question his attitude and commitment and I’ve heard it said on more than one occasion some at the club have too

He's still technically a Walsall player though so unless they were to cancel his contract beforehand and allow him to play which they never would...

Although I remember us doing that years ago with a certain Ian Duerden on the agreement that Hucknall wouldn't play him against us.
They did play him and lo and behold he scored a last minute winner against us the next week which Kenny Lowe wasn't very happy with!

I'll defend him a bit and say he's been played out of position a lot as a wingback as has Whitfield. It's a specialist role and he's not the best defender but that's not his game he's a winger/forward. When he breaks forward and carries the ball he's a real threat.
I've not been sure why he's not played more often recently but he's got some kind of injury I think that keeps recurring, hence he plays then misses a couple. You would expect more from someone with his quality though yes having come down from the Championship. League 2 is a different ball game though.
