Must be someone on here close to the club. Has it been cancelled?

If it must go ahead, perhaps we could improvise with a few ‘new’ awards.

I’ll start…

Wasted talent of the season?

Connor Mahoney, for the second year running, or newcomer Rekeem Harper?

Both massively talented, we’ve seen it in glimpses! Both should be playing at a higher level. So why aren’t they? Only they know the answer.

Mahoney acts like it’s a Sunday morning kick about, plays when he wants. Harper trots around the field like he’s playing in 30oC heat, and he’s conserving his energy.

We have seen brilliance from both. We have! For 1% of the season unfortunately. Only they, deep down, know the reason why.

Red card overturned today, Newport might not of won if the linesman haven't got involved after seeing the replay it's a yellow card all day.

I think we deserve to.know how much each of these players are on per week.I know I,m probably way off but I wouldn,t pay most of these players £1000 per week.Even at that amount they are probably overpaid.
I went to the Cambridge match and I was exasperated by the lack of effort. The one thing we should get off the players is effort
On our way back our coach called into the same service station as the players coach. Some of those players were laughing and joking as though nothing had happened If that was me I wold have been hanging my head in shame.
The problem we have got is
that most of these players do not live in the real world and as a result think it is anyones fault but theirs when they lose. They have no fight no passion and couldn't care less about Barrow AFC and therein lies the problem.
Starting in the rebuild we need to recruit players who will run through a brick wall for the club. They may not be the most talented but with players like that you engender team spirit and that will drive the club forward.

You'd no doubt feel that way because you'd be a Barrovian representing your home town. There is nothing like that these days it's just a job to them and probably a job they took because there were no other prospects.

It's nothing to do with being a Barrovian it's about being professional and having pride in what you do and this shower have none of that

You're probably right but we're not down because of that one result it was Hornbys disastrous appointment of Gallagher and this was followed by January transfer window that was absolutely pathetic!
The home form has cost us Harrogate, Crawley, Gillingham there's 9 points thrown away not to mention countless other shambolic displays!

Absolutely it has.

Disconnect between the supporters and the team.

Players ‘performing’ like they don’t want to be here.

Probably don’t even like Barrow as a place, given the ‘Friday Morning Fiasco’.

Good riddance to those who go. Hopefully the remaining deadbeats will soon follow suit.

If the Friday morning training situation is true it’s really not good at all. Dino wanted to change things and move us forward in a positive way and our lame duck players didn’t like it. Player power?
Look where it’s got us.

Get them up on a Thursday before a game Saturday. Train both days in Barrow. Get into the schools, work places ect build abit of unity between fans and players. Not arsed about where they would train if holker street was unavailable there’s plenty patches of grass and 3G pitches about. Get changed at the ground and load them in a mini bus. After a match have a couple players or the manager in the cross bar instead of jumping straight in their cars back up the 590

. Personally I would implement what Dino did but make players aware this is how it will be at the start of the season with players doing community work in and around Furness in the afternoon. If a player does not fancy it he wont sign. I think the issue with Dino was he tried to change something that has been done by the club for the last 4 seasons and it was not something the present squad signed up for.

The travelling to barrow wasn’t an issue

They still travel to barrow the Friday before a home game for the community stuff - they are even visiting a youth team in the town today

Really don’t know where this “Friday morning fiasco” nonsense has come from - the training session dino Maamria did was at about 3 in the afternoon anyway so they weren’t even having to travel of a morning
