We did that with FC United between November and mid March. The only difference I see is that the 3G is of better quality than FC.

I was hoping we might have trained at Preston NE's training grounds as I would have thought the facilities would have been far better than Curzon's however I presume cost may have been a factor in the decision. Can't see it being geography as its around 30 miles between the two.

I will take that when we are in the desert of despair the odd oasis is a bonus.

I doubt PNE's facilities are really big enough to share Andy with just 3 and a bit grass pitches. The indoor facilities are supposed to be good though, originally set up when Bolton were there under big Sam and then sold on to Wigan and laterly NE.

I suspect the Preston rumours were more likely about using Preston Poly's facilities at their Sports Arena, but for whatever reason, financial or otherwise we have done a deal with Curzon.

Fcum used the same facilities and managed to finish second top scorers and joint second best defensive record. Yes they may be a few leagues below but they make it work for them. Spurs and Leicester probably have two of the best training facilities in the country and they’ve had abysmal seasons respectively.

Used the word bleat quite deliberately, but thought you would choose to miss the point! I'm far from being what you would describe as a happy clapper, but I do try not to disrespect those who don't share my views by applying silly labels to them.
