This is as big a challenge as getting it right on the pitch.
Gonna take as many of us as possible to back them through the good and bad when they can are you up for it Jonty, I know I am.
Not sure how this pans out. If we are going to make an immediate return then we will be bucking the trend of relegated clubs. We don't have the financial muscle of other clubs so I do think it’s a one or two season chance with him at the wheel. i.e now or never.

I hope Murray can change the mentality around the club. He's coming in to a club on the back of a relegation and not sure how we are going to react to that. Can he instil a winning mentality amongst this group, when the 5 previous couldn't? It’s a clean slate and you can blame tactics, team selection and lack of a proper right back but you only have to watch back on last season to see it’s going to need more than a few tweaks here and there.

Also, We've lost a senior role at the club (CEO) and I'm not sure if we are going to replace that role, someone who will represent the club and take forward the boards vision? Murray cant do everything and his focus has to be on the 1st team so what are the plans for developing the footballing side of the club (B team, youth set up, women’s team) and who is going to take that forward (ie D of F role). This is not a new question.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

All good points well made Jonty. According to this weeks Barrow Social Adam Johnson has an interview with Paul Hornby booked in for June 19th so perhaps then you might get some answers

Yes, lets hope so.

No reason why we couldn't challenge for playoffs if everyone pulls in the same direction. But it also means people keeping calm if things are hit and miss initially.
Popular side since '03.

Parachute payment is actually for 3 years.

I'm sure the gaffer will be looking to get straight back as it will look good on his CV.

He has the hunger ,if he get us promoted he may stay a little longer depending on anyone coming in for him.

It's not 3-years, clubs relegated from EFL L2 to NL receive 2-years parachute payments.

Losing McCann and earing won’t help our cause but will be whole new team built around MJ so time will tell

Heard something we haven't?

Any player could leave if a bid comes in or not in the new managers plans (hes told players he doesn't want they can move)
Personally I'd keep both esp McCann but its football so guess over next few weeks we'll see who comes and who goes.

Got to be looking at playoffs as a minimum this season !
