The trialists are still under consideration however there is a player further up the pitch who has become available so they are contemplating that one as well

Possibly could have one or two in before Hartlepool next week but not making promises

They are having meetings over the next 48hrs to discuss
Thanks

Great interview. This fella is exactly what we need at this football club. With all due respect to the previous incumbents we had in last season, this is a Manager who looks fully focused and prepared on the eve of the season.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

What was the penalty awarded for?
Reports don't say and haven't seen anybody say on here.

Morecambe manager said it was for pulling the player back by his shirt and described it as soft

Shame we’ve used up our one pen for the season in a friendly

I wonder how close the starting 11 v Morecambe will be to the one at Hartlepool?
8 new players began yesterday, with 3 from last years contracted group in the line up.
Of the 9 subs, all from last season except Digie.
Barrett, Raglan, Digie, Kouyate, Earing didn’t get on.
Smith, Cameron, Whitfield, Jackson and Rose did.
