So, the players will be barking like dogs in the tunnel, how long before the crowd latch onto that one, could be interesting 🐶🐶

Seen a few National League predictions on Youtube, most placing Barrow around mid table with one or two in the top 7. Listening to their analysis its based largely on having Adam Murray in as Manager and very little on players brought in. Id go as far as saying we are an unknown and difficult to place. They also mention adjusting to the National League. Hmmm. Most have Carlisle as champs (as expected) because it’s Carlisle, yet a quick look at their forum and they not convinced themselves. Hartlepool, BW and Southend also widely predicted to do well. 10 games in will be the first real indication of how it’s all going.

Yes its difficult to call. What I've seen and its not much really is we still look a bit suspect at the back and as many others said we need a Rooney type attacking midfielder. And, of course, we all need a prolific finisher (what team doesn't).

An interesting and quite tough start to the season (and I include Hornchurch in that - as they will be right up for it at "big boys" Barrow in their first away game).

What might be good is an average first half of the season followed by a barnstorming second have where we make the play off's and romp through & win the final at Wembley. Perfect. Just like we did a while back getting out of the Conference North - I remember winning at Stalybridge (3-1 I think) one dark winters night and the run began.

I just want to get out of non league right away - I can but dream.

Having not seen much NL in the recent seasons I really don't know what to expect in terms of the standard of football. Many will say it’s getting to be as equal a standard as the EFL2, but aside from the top 7 or so….We’ll see. I think goals from set pieces are going to be a key difference in many games this season. I can’t remember us scoring too many from corners, free kicks, pens, so hopefully we can improve on that.

I think we have got one realistic chance at this Andy, before the parachute payment pot is empty.

I'm guessing he means looking forward our finances ( after this season) don't look good!

Didn't Always Ultra want to prosecute the chairman for misleading the public? Maybe that's the gripe.

Think we are still short of someone with a real bit of magic but can’t see why the current team can’t go unbeaten and win the league at the worst.

It was in this thread but there's a suggestion one post was removed:
