Should be a cracker Hartlepool fans seem to think a win is a certainty for them with most predicting 3/4 goals for the home side.

I’m going 3-1 Barrow , it’s got a similar feeling to Stockport a few years ago
This is the kinda optimism I like...

Let's go there and shush em all up!

Hi pools fan here you have sold close to 300. Not all the blocks you have been given are fully used. Due to safety etc and as half the stand hasnt even been opened yet, its impossible to have sold that many so far.

Im not sure which pools fans are thinking we are going to win by 3 or 4,were experienced enough to know that we tend to fall flat on our faces when were expected to do well. I expect it to be a very close game, not convinced on our managerial choice at all despite us spending decent amounts.

Interesting focus on 3-1 as the likely outcome. Is this a case of intelligent guesswork? Or could it be the result of some form of retained data floating up through the cerebral cortex?

Last league away fixture versus Hartlepool was a 3-1 loss. Last league home fixture versus Hartlepool was a 3-1 win

And this weekend I see nothing but a win.. score irrelevant, I just see a win.

The all important link for tomorrow

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/live/c86nqn8g50yt

Press on that - go to the Watch & Listen menu then press on Hartlepool v Barrow on BBC Radio Cumbria

The link goes live from 2pm

Don’t confuse this with BBC Sounds - if you try to listen. Via that you will get Carlisle v Worthing
