Hartlepool v Barrow match thread
Re: Hartlepool v Barrow match thread
anyone watching it on DAZN? Heard about an air fryer for the last 5 minutes from the Hartlepool commentary. :/
Shame we couldn’t attract US investment like Hartlepool, apparently our location was an issue (from previous qna’s)
Very nice goal from Nolan, no doubt these will be right up the top come the end of the season.

Re: Hartlepool v Barrow match thread
Our set pieces final delivery is awful, lack quality in midfield and up front, Danny Rose doesn't look interested !

It’s been as poor as a performance as I feared it would be.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

Re: Hartlepool v Barrow match thread
Disappointed today. Cameron chance aside we’ve hardly threatened them, very little quality in the final third and two soft goals conceded. Harris and Nolan at this level are two good players and have been the difference. Soft goals conceded the last in particular reminiscent of last season, not strong enough didn’t clear the ball and a shot creeps in.
Hartlepool are good and it’s early days but we’ve just not got the quality created next to nothing which is a problem. Midfield is missing someone to get on the ball and upfront we’ve been short. Corners woeful again. Not sure why Cameron starts over Reid and Whitfield only a sub either unless they’re not fit.

Has the ref taken them off and brought them back on for the last 7 minutes?

After all the pre season hype and those attending Friendlies saying we looked good I’m afraid that performance was disappointing imo.

Re: Hartlepool v Barrow match thread
2 soft goals the Midfield just didn't gel ,Cameron tried but we've absolutely nothing up front, we just looked lethargic and slow all over the pitch, Murray won't be happy about that yes they're a good side but we seemed to give them too much respect!!

Re: Hartlepool v Barrow match thread
Murray signed all these player's no blaming someone eles this season, but that was poor if being honest, it's a tough league we all know but we have to be better, Hartlepool weren't brilliant but scored we had one real chance and blow it.
Re: Hartlepool v Barrow match thread
Just got back from the game.
Doesn’t really feel any different from the full time whistle sounding after a game towards the end of last season. Just stoney ground disappointment .
Created nothing. Second best to everything
For a “big, physical side”, we wern’t very big or physical.
No plan A, no plan B.
Starting Cameron was a bad idea.
Winterbottom isn’t a good enough GK for this level if we have designs on the play-offs.
Second half was the ref blowing his whistle all the time. Boring as [SwearFilter].
First game of the season I get it but must improve
