He’s brought a lot of his own players in already. The worry is that Kiddy fans didn’t seem too upset he left and the comments they’ve made about him wanting a vast number of players and playing the blame game are already looking to be coming true in recent interviews. Simple fact is, Murray has to win over fans and the first 2 games have been a million miles away from doing that.
They say that but he did get them up after a poor start, in what’s a competitive league. My worry is he’s promised an aggressive and front footed team which we’ve been anything but, and neither Murray or a lot of his signings are really proven in the national league. The shift in his manner from Hartlepool where he was happy, to Hornchurch when in reality both were poor performances - I also find odd. The previous regime is hampering him and us no doubt, but you can’t be optimistic one week and then a week later after one game suddenly shift. He needs the players to perform for him as long as they’re here and I’m not convinced outing them after one bad match in his eyes is the way to do it.

The signs are not good and as you say that early optimism has evaporated and he is in the local press saying the club is an 'absolute shambles'. It says something when you come from Kiddy and say that about a former EFL club. This will not go unnoticed by the players who might already be in 'why bother' mode for all we know.

It's still very early days of course and a favourable result today could change things massively. Let's hope so - you never know, that's why we go!
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...
