Wait all season for a win 3rd goal goes in. Half the main stand leave. What a club

Brilliant game, I take it all back; play like that over the season and well do just fine .

I swear to god our games are always the last to finish on a Saturday, painstaking when following from afar.

Convincing scoreline, the season starts here.
Popular side since '03.

Dreadful that. So many quite happy to stand and boo after our previous two home games, but can’t clap the team off after our first win.

Well played lads - hopefully that’s the corner turned.

3 goals, 3 different goal scorers, clean sheet, 3 points

Happy Saturday night Bluebirds!

Much better. At 1-0 we’ve been accustomed to a come ack from the Opposition. 2nd goal was vital, 3rd was just lovely,

Whitfield in for Walker next week now though. The pre season Walker hasn’t followed over into this campaign.

Scott Smith my MOM but I can see why Marriott got it.

Back 3 worked well in the end with 5 across Suttons back line at times. Interesting.

Agree with that walkers touch and end product is poor, Whitfield may not be as sharp as he once was but still has the quality as shown by his finish for the third.

A very gritty performance it could’ve been a different story haf Sutton scored first which they should have, he missed an absolute sitter. We didn’t create an awful lot first half and Cameron was too isolated for me and Latty Fairweather and Walker got in some good areas but didn’t deliver enough. Good to score from a corner though and then second half wasn’t really much in it but at 1-0 you always fear the worst. Really good goal for the second a quick break caught Sutton out and Marriott deservedly MOM finished well. Really impressed with Reid’s hold up play and leading the line, and then another good break after we pressed high and Whitfield finished well into the corner.

6 yellow cards and some quite silly for short pulling and that needs to stop we can’t afford suspensions all the time, it was never dirty game but there were a lot of niggles and late fouls from both teams but thankfully nothing like Kidderminster - the ref lost control really towards the end. 3-0 doesn’t tell the full
Story but a good battling performance and a clean sheet and much needed win. Plenty of room for improvement still though, on any other day they score first and then it’s a completely different game - today we got the break.

A win at last but I still worried when the board said 10 minutes, but to be honest we actually looked solid most of the time, Winterbottom nearly cost us with that moment when he hesitated and when he finally came out it was too late, I seen some bad misses but that's definitely one of the worst!
The second goal was a joy to watch, if we just take our time we'd create more chances ,Sutton are no mugs but we made them look ordinary, let's hope this now relaxes the team and they'll get better!, so much relief on people's faces as they were leaving the ground!
