And its my first game of the season -think I need to come more often! Happy drive back down the M6 tonight. Also only 4 pages of comments so far! Strange.

Missed the Sutton miss as getting up was a nightmare but just now seen it - yes it was an incredible miss. Will be replayed a lot on social media.

I’d rather see the long ball so called anti football and a win than [SwearFilter] around with the ball all game and losing

It’s a results game

It doesn't have to be a choice between one or the other! Anyway, I thought we played some good stuff at times today, not sure what all the criticism of our 'style of play' is about. That was a more entertaining performance from us than anything I watched last seaon in EFL 2.

I agree about it being more entertaining than anything I saw last season, and also there was more fight and spirit.

I thought Sutton looked more composed going forward, but we took all our big chances. Well except for Latty Fairweather dummying in the box when he had a clear shooting opportunity. I do think though that he had moments and could still be an asset even though he was a bit frustrating.

We actually look better I think when we pass a little bit in midfield before going down the sides, but our distribution from the back is lacking at times and Oakley seems fond of going backwards, although overall had a better game today against their big number 9. Some of them will get a shock in the winter when the wind is well up and will need to take a bit off some of the long passes.

In Marriott and Ward we have two tidy midfielders who are good on the ball and look to pass it, Smith also had a good game as others have said.cant deny his effort but today his passing was much better too.

Sutton looked a bit more assured at times early on especially but didn’t really trouble us and in the end we took our chances which we’ve not done previously, and thankfully they didn’t. The miss is quite unbelievable!

The real test now is can we build on it and get back to back wins for the first time in a very long time…

I had a significant birthday today - that win was the best present I could have had!

Was funny watching the matchday staff running towards the fanzone when the singer started his rendition of dancing in the moonlight 5 minutes before half time whilst the game was still going.

Was a good game, obviously everyones a little nervous at 1-0 because so many times we've thrown it away so to see us go for it and score another 2 good goals was brilliant 👏 and at last a clean sheet! That was the main thing for me as we were shipping in 2 goals a game until yesterday.

Played some good stuff and after the slight mishap in the first few minutes never looked back. I think we played yesterday like we had seen in pre season getting in faces and the ball out wide. It was enjoyable to watch.

Shame to see the best player at the club go off injured at half time after his start to the season hopefully it’s nothing too bad.

I said to Adam Murray on Friday night we’ll let you win this cricket game as a confidence boost.

Fanzone singer needs to get in the bin pre half time , I believe that’s happened the last two weeks.

Tannoy system is also broken , no idea what’s being said.

Next time can you please arrange for a lack of music after a goal is scored instead.

I wonder how long this 'not having a keeper' on the bench is going to go on for?

Even before yesterday's problems there was no sound in the stand. at the first home game.

The club. will have to get it sorted as I believe is mandatory that everyone in the ground can hear safety announcements. although not sure if that applies to the National League.

Before the game, I went round the whole ground with my microphone and there were no problems, must be to do with volume. I will do the same at the next home game. The club have had the audio equipment serviced. So it must just be teething issues.

I wonder if you’re in the minority with this opinion. Does anyone else dislike the goal music ?
