Special guest at Solihull v Barrow

A special treat for listeners to our coverage of the Solihull game in a weeks time

Alongside myself at Damson Park will be none other than the former Barrow manager Pete Wild

Not sure about a treat. You probably be issued with list of topics you not allowed however vaguely to mention.I hope he can be unbiased on the game.I take it he is not gainfully employed with another club .Odd that someone who had such good rapport with fans at different clubs not been able to settle at one club.

He went off my Christmas card list when he got Ben Whitfield a 3 match ban.
It did Fleetwood no good, but certainly harmed our club.

Agree the Ben Whitfield ban that he was responsible for was a disgrace. The game had finished, Fleetwood had won. It seemed he instigated the after match report through sheer spite.

Great signing that Adam - will be interesting to hear him on comms. Best couple of season we’ve had since the promotion; yes, they weren’t without issue but would take them over the utter sh**show that followed any day.

I agree.

He's from Oldham.

I might not agree with your co-commentator for Tuesday night, ha, but it’s great to see you’ll be at the match AJ.

I read in the Daily Mail that the BBC are looking at not sending away commentators to games from next season. They’re looking at saving on the cost of travel and overnight accommodation and they can obviously do that by having the home BBC station commentator cover the match for both stations. I suppose it’s a bit like how
DAZN currently cover their games

Fingers crossed that’s not the case and we can still pick up your dulcet tones. Up the Bluebirds
