Our "style" of play was probably the main contributing factor in him wanting away and your right Boreham Woods style will probably suit him.
Not sure what you mean “our style” Whitfield is a winger, get the ball out to the Whitfield, wing play is direct, beating players and putting balls into the box and scoring goals. I don’t know what about our style you suggest doesn’t suit his strengths?
He aint 6ft 2 built like the preferbial kicks lumps out of players or pulls and tugs opposition players. That's our style and the number of yellow cards we have reflects that.

Fair comments, i was thinking more of our link up play with wide players, it should suit his style. His goal v Sutton good example.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

TBF his goal came from a direct punt from Winterbottom that the Sutton centre half misjudged
I’ve yet to see much link up play from us we barely string three passes together

As several have said, Whitfield is miles away from the player who we first signed. I'd be happy to see the back of every player left from last season's team. Sadly, I'd be just as happy to see the back of almost every player Murray has brought in this season as they are no better - in fact in many cases worse - than those they've replaced!

Any decent footballer wouldn't want to play in a team that plays the way Murray does, it's anti football !

Who could blame him? Half of us want to leave too.
Whits and Newby were the two wide players we needed.

But neither fit Murray’s DNA 6ft2 built like a preverbial willing to kick lumps out of the opposition and pull shirts off there backs
