As many have already said, the first half was awful. But to reach half time 0-0 is a good result against that wind. Second half in a similar vein until the goal - could have had many more after that. Did anyone get a good view of the one that hit the bar - did it cross the line?

It's worth noting that 7 of our 9 games (and all our points) have been against teams in the top 11. So we're moving in the right direction.

Easier said than done if you've played in strong winds you still have to weight the pass !
To be honest I was really surprised how well we controlled the second half, it's not easy in conditions like those, people kept saying ( in the first half) about some of our passes they've obviously never played in the wind !

We've not had a back to back league clean sheet for 17 months, when we managed 4 on the trot under Andy Whing against, Milton Keynes Dons, Walsall Fleetwood Town and Tranmere Rovers in April 2025.
Let's hope we can get one at Southend next weekend.

Issac Marriot lead from the front today as our new captain was fantastic to see.

Thompson , Mooney & Edwards look like they could really get us playing football.

I thought it had gone in, looked like it crossed and bounced back out at funny angle..

After watching highlights, didn't look like a goal.

Really pleased with the difference the subs made,especially Mooney. Finding more space off the ball and knocking it about well.

Just checked and when we play Scunthorpe at home England are on itv at the same time, I wondered if the club had tried to change to the Wednesday??

It won’t have too much of an affect

It’s a nations league game which doesn’t draw that big a support
