How come Cox hasn't signed any players yet?

He has lost the dressing room!

Cox out!

He got promoted with a massive budget then finished mid table in the league above.

Sound fairly familiar?

If Paul Cox is proven to be the outstanding candidate from Mr Casson's list of managers to take the club to another level then so be it!
Not sure how long he has been scouring the list and sounding out our new manager but all I would say is take another week even a fortnight and if he still comes top of the list then maybe you did have the right man from the start.
You have been hasty before Mr Casson in announcing that Edmo was the man to build the club around, I don't want you to be proven wrong again for yours or the supporters sakes!
There will still be plenty of time to target the players to take the club forward.

I get the feeling that the board want us in league 2 as fast as possible. Crawley-ing it up the leagues.

We need to stay in this league for a year. Like a blind man in an orgy we need to feel things out.

The one thing that Paul Cox did do at Mansfield was build an infrastructure.
They had 4 youth teams.
An infrastructure is something that Barrow have been short of.

Edmo had CN experience but probably Phil Wilson is a better match to what you're talking about seeing as he'd won leagues etc before.

That's the conclusion we came to also Dave. Wilson had the eye for a player but didn't know how to play them (Walker for eg?).
Perhaps Edmo was the same...we may have some good players here that he brought in but he couldn't motivate and manage them properly? Mellor and Fofana may end up being fantastic signings!

Seems refreshingly decisive to me.
