I made a Post on Feb. 25 that stated, due to Coronavirus 'football games might be cancelled'

I was ridiculed by some, 'will never happen', from one, 'give it a rest' from another, etc'.

One Member even requested the Moderator delete the thread.

Only 2-weeks later football games ARE now being cancelled, or might be played behind Closed Doors.

The experts say that we've seen nothing yet and much worse is to come. This virus is extremely serious and potentially deadly and many will be affected.

So I sincerely hope and trust there will no further derogatory or sceptical remarks from any forum members on the subject, because for one thing, aside from football, some people, especially the elderly WILL DIE.

They've even just cancelled the 'Coronavirus Conference, due to Coronavirus'.

It should be left up to the individual to decide whether you want to go to a game or not. I for one will just be carrying on as normal

Just had my flights cancelled for April, had planned to go to Halifax and Yeovil games, just my luck, my brothers in Poole were coming to the Yeovil game also. Nothing to be done, situation bad here and l think you're about 3 weeks behind us. All l can say is win this league for us and l will start planning for Bolton away! Forza Bluebirds you can do this.

I would only start getting concerned if there was a few deaths a week in barrow. The news always reports the death and then says with underlying health issues!

On a serious note the level of disruption that we will face will depend on the threshold for what size crowds/how far down the pyramid playing behind closed doors/postponements will stretch can almost certainly say that will include the Premier League and most (if not all) of the football league.

Like all aspects of life everything is very much up in the air at the moment as there is no precedence for this.

If the Barrow area becomes a cluster and travel restrictions are imposed there will be no matches taking place. Then I would reconsider how to protect myself
