McCann being available probably came late to us as he was clearly looking higher up the pyramid. The deal obviously suited both parties, if he continues on the trajectory he is we either up the current deal early if agreed by both parties or cash in. I was really hoping we would at least have a right back and/or centre back lined up early in the window when it’s been so obvious for months we’ve needed them. Unless the plan is get this weekend out of the way then sign folk when we’ve two weeks before the next game, but that would indicate we do planning and I’m not convinced on that….

Then we'll go down because we'll keep conceding soft goals and any new manager who has ever watched us would not come here without assurances about squad investment!
Yes we're 7 points clear but the team's at the bottom and around us all have to play each other, this mindset of we're too good to go down and things will turn around has been going on all season and we're still leaking goals yet the mantra is we'll work on it ,this is delusional the problem is there for all to see yet we still accept the excuses rattled out at every post match interview!

That is why somebody from the club needs to make statement. Nothing since December 10th and all this silence and no increase this season for the playing budgets points to belt tightening from the owners.
