Completely agree with him. There are about 10 teams in the NL better than the vast majority of EFL 2.

Too many on here live in a dream world. Fooled by decent results against Ipswich and Barnsley reserve teams against clubs with little interest in the cup as more important matters of trying for promotion in EFL1 and avoid relegation from the Championship. The current team is very, very poor. We can't even stop poor teams scoring and we haven't got a striker worthy of the name. Just because we pass the ball (mostly sideways and back) in midfield reasonably well, doesn't make us a good team. We have zero penetration and one of the slowest teams in this (very poor) league. Our only saving grace is that Scun*horpe and Oldham currently are just as bad as we are! long may that last.

It's not a claim, it's an opinion. If I look at the current NL now, I reckon any of the top 9 could make a decent show in EFL 2. Newport were very average and they are third!

Things are shite at the minute, and I'm not particularly happy with the management side of things but I'm really not sure what changing it would achieve. It'll be a repeat of last season, stumble over the line (if we actually manage that) and start again in the summer. Harrogate and Sutton had momentum and continuity when promoted which is exactly what we needed but was taken away from us for various reasons. We don't have the momentum but we can at least try and make what we have work otherwise we will never get anywhere.

Just watched the goals and similar to many others we concede- The back three are just not commanding / strong enough. Two minutes in and Jones / Platt need to be busting a gut to win that ball. Is that down to Cooper? No - Is it tactics? No. It is down to determination to win the individual battles- every single time. Oh for a Steve McNulty / Paul Jones. Cooper cant do much when that whistle goes and everything they have spoken about - the wide / high ball coming in and they let this one in after just two lousy minutes.

I still dont get how you can have an option on that unless you've seen them all play a few times.

We will be fine this season. Oldham and Scunthorpe are poor. It’s next season I worry about. Whichever 2 team come up from the national league will be nowhere near the bottom of the league. Pushing us further down. Morecambe, Crewe, gillingham and Doncaster possibly Wimbledon fleetwood. All seem like fairly well run clubs having a poor season. I can’t see any of those 4 struggling I.E Oldham this season. The planning for the rest of this season and through the summer is going to be pivotal in the future of our club and staying in the football league.

Chopping the manager now will be a huge mistake, starting all over again. You can see he is building a squad. We are not a million miles away. It’s not pretty but we are in 75%+ of games until the death. How many times have we lost by more than one goal this season? 5 times I think.

It’s clear we are missing that “goalscorer” 1/2 players. That can push us away. Turn those draws into wins and defeats into draws.

Have faith. We are building and give the board and MC time. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Coz hes downed tools as hes sorted his contract out with someone else for next year

Haven't seen the game yet, but according to Cooper we went to a back 4 in the second half. After that we scored one and didn't concede again.
