The lack of loyalty isn't surprising in this day and age but just how much money must Tranmere have offered to blow us out of the water??

'Kin hell.
I've been the lead voice in the "Good luck to him, he owes us nowt" camp, but that's awful to see. If he'd gone to a Football League club, SPL club, whatever then fair enough and good luck to him. But to sign for a team in our league after apparently saying he wouldn't is a bitter pill to swallow. Obviously Tranmere are a big big club at this level, but i can't imagine they'll be paying masses more wages than we will have offered him and we'll presumerably be in with as much shout of promotion as they will.
Very very disappointing and loses alot of the good will and good wishes Barrow fans had in store for him having pretty much accepted he would be leaving us.
Guess no football league clubs were interested after all...

At least people can move on now. If he doesn't want to be a part of the team then good riddance.

I thought he had ambition.
Wanted to play in football league.
He won't be doing that anytime soon

To be fair, "indicated" he would not "wish" to move to another National League Club is a bit different to saying "I will not sign for another National League club".
Apparently at the same Manager's Q&A tonight they announced their playing budget would be £1.1m - that's definitely more than ours will be. They're going all out for promotion.

No luck at all to him. He said it was about close to home or Football League. I just like players who tell the truth.
He's no chance of scoring at Holker Street, we'll be in his head from minute one

Has he ever actually said he wouldn't go to another non league team?
Good luck to him, football careers are short and you need to take opportunities when they come, Tranmere are a huge club compared to us.

Well, equally, no loyalty in football cuts both ways, so I look forward to you bleating on here about him getting dogs abuse next visit.
