Agree with this. The sad part is, I will be there and also the Harrogate match, in fact will always be there. It's so sad seeing us go down without so much as fight-apart from one or two players.

Today’s episode of the social brought home the truth today are these players bothered especially the ones who are due for renewals at the end of the season I think Canavan is on that list the way he sees it he ain’t going into national league

There just doesn’t seem to be any fight or any five from the players and sadly I don’t think Gallagher is the man to give them that he needs a mid table team to show his worth we need a
More experienced league manger who will know how to get us away from relegation

Agree with many that our choice of managers hasn't been great and think we may have been better sticking with AW. Will stick with them through thick or thin ,but to be honest l can't see where we are going to get the points from. Booking flights to get over for the Barnet and Cambridge games let's hope l am a little more optimistic by then. Bluebird per sempre.

We needed 5 points from Shrewsbury, Colchester and Harrogate so now we need to win these both. The run of fixtures after the end of this month are ridiculously tough, if we are in the bottom 2 by then we are well and truly goosed

90% Win Bonus

Might inspire some of they

Unfortunately under contract law it can't be changed unless all parties agree.
However, offering a bigger package based on the above idea may work.
Say on 1000 a week:
Up that to say 1200
Make it even 50/50.
600 appearance
600 win or even not lose .
Costs extra 20% but money well spent if it kept us up.

Surely you insert a relegation clause in any new contract in league two in the clubs favour ( ie a salary reduction) should it happen to incentivise players ?

God forbid we miss out on the playoffs.
Mid table in league 2 forever is infinitely better than going down as we will absolutely never get back up. That’s the reality.

This! There were people getting a bit carried away when we were on the edge of the play-offs and moaning about Wild not getting us over the line. What we’d give for a sniff of 10th now! This seemed to then rub off on the board who got shot of him part way through an alleged 3-season plan (I know there were other issues too) and, since then, it’s been poor appointments, dubious recruitment and a lack of vision. All of that seems to have coincided with IW being promoted internally. Mid-table mediocrity is absolutely fine - for now; this yo-yo’ing from play-off push to relegation scrap is destabilising and no good for anyone.. And, let’s be honest, if we had have gone up we have been pummelled every week because we’re nowhere close to ready. Mid-table for 5+ years please because, if we go down, we ain’t getting back anytime soon. And I don’t care if that sounds all ‘little ol’ Barrow’ - we are not a big club, and we’re not wealthy; we just need to survive this, stabilise, and hang around that middle third for a while. On a positive note, we’ve got time to get the points to do that so do it we must. COYB!
