As with most jobs I would expect the Board to discuss the situation with him, and possibly give him the next two games to turn it around.

Think i said something similar a couple of weeks ago about he would have until Christmas then i could see him going if points weren't on the board and so far we have 0 !

Why would they say anything at this point?

Normally when the club know and they do know that the fans are questioning the manager and your not getting results esp in last 9 matches and we are conceding a lot of goals now then the club or any club would say hes got our support etc or they just sack him or the polite way - left by mutual consent (which means we'll pay you off but not sack you)

Why would they say the former in the team's present circumstances? If they were planning to do the latter, they still wouldn't say anything until it had happened.

So, with 29 games to go (87 pts) to play for. How many points will we realistically need to be safe, another 30?

Dunn's win ratio is going to get us nowhere near that.

I would imagine a Plan B will be in draft form; a win Tuesday night might result in it being put on hold, anything else will require it’s approval at board level and subsequent implementation.

I will agree with most other supporters, a decent fella but we just have too much to lose on our present course.

He always sounded out of his depth and he didn’t seem to have any self belief.

Feel sorry for the guy but it’s in the best interests of the club and well done to the Board for being decisive at the right time.
