Sack Dunn
If we don't do it soon, we are in deep shit.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.
If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Re: Sack Dunn
He’s been useless in his previous roles, his record here is set to be even more useless. 48 years to let some idiot take us back down with a whimper. I for one will not be watching anymore games that idiot is in charge.
Go and finish your dinner [SwearFilter] face!

Re: Sack Dunn
Hate saying it but it is time for a change. The Mansfield and Bradford games were anomalies, not the norm.
And on the 7th day god created football

Re: Sack Dunn
The worrying thing is you look at the next 6 games and realistically there’s only Scunthorpe we’d have any chance of beating (and even they’ve gone and hammered Harrogate tonight)

Aye its been shite. Get gone before it's too late. Give the new man as many games as possible. Couldn't care less where we get the money from. Can't really afford not to do so.

Re: Sack Dunn
Strange comment
Yes, but have still managed to get more points in 5 champions leagues group games, than some shit german teqms have managed to get in the 9 league games.
Re: Sack Dunn
David Dunn’s managerial career.
G W D L Win %
44 7 21 16 15.91
Why won’t he play Quigs and Dior Up front together? Only game is bolton and they were fantastic.
The board clearly thought they were getting a better Ian Evatt, Mark telling everyone they had signed and England International and David had spent his whole career in the Prem unlike Evatt.
This was a bad appointment, based on ego
Just remember - No promoted National League/Conference team has ever gone straight back down.......
The facts are he has signed 14 new players, on top of that offered new contracts to Connor Brown and Jack Hindle along with signing Platt. So technical 17 new players that signed under his management and we are worse team than last season!!! FACTS

Re: Sack Dunn
Sorry missed off the boy he signed and loaned to Ireland, 18 players
Re: Sack Dunn
I am neutral on the question of whether he should stay or go, but there is one question none of the sacking advocates have yet addressed: what we do AFTER we sack Dunn. Where is there a manager who will turn things round, ready and available, and what happens in the interim while we are managerless?

Re: Sack Dunn
I'd probably say he needs 6+ points from the next 3 games otherwise off you go.
Rather see us playing 442 grinding out some awful 0-0s or wins.

Re: Sack Dunn
Yep. If this carries on, I think Xmas has to be the time to make a decision. Any later and it won't matter who they bring in if they ultimately decide to part ways. By then someone will have to jump straight in to a dire situation with only a 3/4 months tops to change it. They'd also be dropped in in the middle of the transfer window and have to get to work quickly.
If grinding results saves us, then so be it. It's a shame to see our "identity" from last season go but pretty football and defeats doesn't keep us up. I'll take 442 long ball tactics all day long if gets us to safety. This is one of my major concerns with DD. Doesn't seem to change to the situation. Seemingly wants to stick to the system regardless of whether or not it's working.
Oh and whoever is in charge in January, SIGN A MIDFIELD!
We hate Carlisle United, we hate Workington too (and Morecambe), we hate Accrington Stanley but Barrow we love you
