Defo 3500 at least today, someone got it wrong

Not sure popular side was really empty stand just about 3 quarters full ,holker end only about half of what is usually there, honestly very disappointed in the attendance.

Pop side did look sparse. There’s been some games this season that haven't looked any busier and with less away fans, yet bigger attendances announced.

Nowhere near 3500 I’d say . Figures sounded about right to me . Popular side not busy when viewed from the stand. Anyway, back to the match - our 2 nd best performance of the season (4-0 v PV) ; some outstanding performances alround - Canavan for me MOM - he’s been colossal last few weeks. Andy Whing doing a great job - well done - all Bluebirds are blue !

Re players out of contract end of the season- Barrow can go places with this squad, I really hope we can re-sign Gotts / Campbell / Spence / Foley / Vassell,… sign up Pressley and Smith.

We are not far off a top 7 side. I know we are coming around to the end of that two season contract for many players, but we are a good side and with Pressley have a far greater goal threat. If out of contract players can agree new deals then we go into summer with the core of good squad already in place. There is a real spirit that is in this side.

HS End and the “temporary” home stand both looked fairly empty to me

I thought the same, very very poor attendance from home supporters & that must be a concern for the owners.

Pressley MAN of the match for me, definitely his best game for us, closely followed by Gottsy. I realise Walsall lost Lowe but their fall since Christmas has been unbelievable.

A couple of of factors will have contributed to the low attendance. Seasons over nothing to play for, Its Easter school holidays and with the weather being as good as its been many will have had a family day out somewhere other than Holker street. .

A lot of comments on the UptheSadlers forum about Adams commentary today. Mainly about the level of puzzlement expressed about the quality of the Walsall performance. Which according to some bordered on sympathy if not pity.

They feel you Adam. I think some of them want to adopt you. Apparently their own commentator went very quiet for long periods.

With their goal difference, Carlisle would need to score 7 more points than Accy in just 4 games. A tall order.

Great day to be at Holker St not least as two of my grandkids were mascots. In fact my granddaughter went out with Pressley at kick off and didn't stop talking to him - I think that's why he took her advice had a blinder and scored the first goal on her instructions! In fact she told me she wants to be a professional footballer & she just might get there! Not that I'm biased.

Have a soft spot for Walsall as I lived in the area for a while and went to see them on a regular basis so I hope they do go up. But watching the first half you could have been forgiven for thinking Barrow were going for promotion. Probably the best I've seen them this season making a top 3 team look very ordinary. Nobody played poorly. However, it was the second half that was significant for me. As you'd expect Walsall were given a rocket and were far sharper in every department (a bit like an upgraded version of Accrington when they were here recently). But the thing was Barrow did not allow them any shots on goal with Canavan being exceptional and Stanway superb on cutting out crosses. There was no panic at any time and I was pinching myself at times as to was I really watching a Barrow team that was so professional. Always happy to see Emile get a goal he lacks confidence at times and must be learning so much from Pressley.

As like many others I was shocked and disappointed by the attendance. In the 60's our attendances were not always that great even in the 66 to 69 period but roughly 2400 there today makes you think does the town really deserve an EFL team? Bet you there will be well over 8000 "loyal" fans attending if we draw United or Liverpool away in the cup next season. If you also take into account there must have been a number us Barrow fans like my family here today from out of town then there was obviously less the around 2400 Barrow based supporters at the game today. What on earth is the club supposed to do to get more through the gates next season? I guess we need to go on and win the league! That's one thing you can't criticise Carlisle for their fanbase is big and very loyal even through the season they are going through at present - but I still hope they go down though.

My first visit to Holker St this season and I brought my son and grandson (age 7) who are on holiday from NZ. The grandson was wearing his father’s old ‘Vause for Vauxhall 1990 FA Trophy’ team shirt and son was in his old ‘Chas Kendall’ one. Great day out and the team did us proud.

Some anger from the Walsall fans at the end, not surprising because they were very much second best, with only the first half stoppage time chance their sole threat on goal.
