I liked Wild know he was popular.Concerning your comments I do hope you have evidence for these allegations that you are willing to share with the rest of us who are not so well informed. Its very easy for people on here to make allegations some of which border on libel..Yes it is a Forum but if you can’t back this claim up then Pedro think it pure speculation .Pedro wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 11:25 pmNow I've joined the sensors on here.BarrowLad71 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 4:23 pm
Ah well then we better close the forum down if fans can’t speculate. What else is a forum for than fans posting their opinions.
If you have a opinion you are sent to the salt mines so be careful.
On the Wild dismissal it was more than one person he fell out with and it got a bit nasty .
I suppose he now knows what it's like not to be a mason.

Re: WHING HAS TO GO
This is the biggest issue, I don't think he believes in himself anymore. I go back to the Chesterfield match first day of the season and he said something along the lines of of he had sleepless night wondering if he'd picked the right team...Bingo wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 11:03 am I think we have some decent players, I don’t believe the bullshit about lowest budget in the league underdogs crap.
On the subject of Whing I feel sorry for him but he doesn’t seem to be that confident in himself and that coupled with the negative little old barrow mentality is doing for us. We can’t keep changing managers tho and I’m guessing the club is trying to support him as much as the can but I think we are nearly at the time where he has to go.
Then he doubted himself and Pead in were they doing the right things and it took Rob Kelly coming in to assure him...
The talk of not listening to 'outside noise' as well earlier in the season and that he would no longer be listening, implying that he had been influenced...
That plus his interviews and continued face scratching and nose touching he just doesn't come across well at all to me, it's hardly inspiring or fills you with any confidence and I think it shows in the players. A manager needs to be confident and have an awe about them, Evatt made average players believe they were world beaters and gave them confidence, even on bad runs and stuck to his guns whereas I don't get that with Whing.
A lot of the signings have been Whings too in the likes of Raglan and Hemmings from old clubs, Earing and Gordon through his Walsall contact and Booty was his main man. So I'm not sure too much blame can be apportioned to Wood on the recruitment side there and we've been told that it's a joint decision and no one comes in that the manager doesn't want...

Re: WHING HAS TO GO
Fair comment tbh honest, Oldham Athletic and Crewe Alexander are pretty old clubs

Not revealing my source ,nor will I reveal my source on the meeting that was held with a friend of mine in the early days when Casson left and he was offered a share in the club.liverpoolann wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 7:52 amI liked Wild know he was popular.Concerning your comments I do hope you have evidence for these allegations that you are willing to share with the rest of us who are not so well informed. Its very easy for people on here to make allegations some of which border on libel..Yes it is a Forum but if you can’t back this claim up then Pedro think it pure speculation .Pedro wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 11:25 pm

I've learnt like the Masons you have to be secretive.
Believe me or not up to you.
Firstly this is a forum but as you know about libel law who have I libeled .
The only person I mentioned was Wild and I was stating he fell out with more than one person.

Whether it,s outside noise or not,if the team fail to perform against Wigan in front of such a big away crowd questions will be asked as to the management style which is obviously not working. All we want as supporters is for the team to perform from minute one and all the way through the game.
Is that too much to ask?

Re: WHING HAS TO GO
Yes because the team are not fit enough to play that long its been like that from day one im afraidMethuselah wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 12:18 pm Whether it,s outside noise or not,if the team fail to perform against Wigan in front of such a big away crowd questions will be asked as to the management style which is obviously not working. All we want as supporters is for the team to perform from minute one and all the way through the game.

I thought there was a "super injunction" in place?
Or is Pedro actually Pete Wild?

There is and as Paul Hornby pointed out in a Q&A not longer after Wild lefts Wilds solicitors were quickly on the phone to him after he spoke about Wild leaving on Radio Cumbria to point that out to him.tommy2thumbs wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 2:23 pmI thought there was a "super injunction" in place?

Re: WHING HAS TO GO
FWIW, I think the Board will be quite keen to stick with Andy Whing:
- because we've been through so many (too many?) managers/coaches since our return to the league and are looking for a bit of stability. Add to that that we don't want a reputation as a hire-'em-fire'em club; and
- because they believe in him both as an individual and in his potential. That's why we've brought in 2 assistants with vast experience to act as mentors.
Don't let the old man in.

Re: WHING HAS TO GO
The bigger issue imo is do the players believe in him. Going by the last two games and pre Kelly I don’t think they doMisterPleasant wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 5:02 pm FWIW, I think the Board will be quite keen to stick with Andy Whing:

Re: WHING HAS TO GO
I agree as for the board believing in Whings potential surely his insistence on playing a system that blatantly isn't working and playing football that is at times so negative ( especially at home) then unless they actually agree with this strategy then we're doomed!Main Stand SeasonTct wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 5:29 pmThe bigger issue imo is do the players believe in him. there's no excuse for players not giving 100%, regardless of mangers strategy
