No hindsight was needed by many who were voicing their concerns from very early on in the season. It’s made worse by the way the owners double downed at the Q&A in March and would not hear a bad word said about the then CEO.

Yes there were quite a few on here voicing their concerns about the CEO when they had a chance to change it. So what did they do? Put him on the Board. Unbelievable!

They read this forum, so why didn't they at least take some notice of our concerns?

Having said that we wouldn't have a club without them, so well done on that front.

It wasn't Pete Wild who was manager during that pre season escapade in Scotland, it was Mark Cooper.

What was the story then?

The club was a shambles at that time as Cooper kept alluding to when complaining about the lack of training facilities. Part time club in the lakes he referred to us as when at Yeovil. Sadly he was right in some ways.

Cooper came for the money, screwed the life out of the club and gave absolutely nowt in return. The Fridays in Lakeside hotels being one case in point, rather than spending time with the players

Thanks Adam, great questions. I think the explanation of the Iain Wood situation and the apparent backing of him at the last Q&A was very illuminating. I got accused of "little old Barrow" syndrome recently, but the Notts County anecdote was interesting. I did get the sense that the owners feel that we have tried to emulate the big boys in attitude and infrastructure and we are going back to the Evatt mentality of being seen as underdogs but not feeling inferior.

But, hey, North Korea even gets referenced! Is Pedro just a pseudonym for the chairman?! I think we should be told.

Clearly rolling everything back to help with costs and with owners taking on a more hands on role in corporate and operational decisions. They need daily visibility, something perhaps they took a step back from in recent seasons.

It is totally obvious from these PH revelations that we have lacked strong leadership and management both on and off the pitch,

Let’s hope Murray proved to be strong Manager with an experienced coaching team who can set high standards, give us an identity and a tactical plan to challenge at the top.

Yeah, ok, so it sounds like heads have rolled and heads have wobbled. The part that stuck with me from that was the confession that Paul didn't know who was selecting the teams there sometimes with the convoluted systems. It begs the question...how many parties were able to select the team? The manager? The senior players? Let's whisper it...the CEO?

I can’t imagine many if any on here would have the finances needed to join the board. Just because he puts money into the club doesn’t mean he can’t be criticised
I
