Re: New signings
I'll throw this name into the thread;-
Marcel Oakley - 22 year old 5' 11" right back who has just been released by Solihull. Left Birmingham last summer, was without a club until Whing signed him in October on a short deal until the end of the year and then extended it until the end of the season;- played 29 times from October to the end of the season. Released because he's got an offer at an EFL club (much in the same way as they released Sbarra last season who went to Doncaster).
He played against Barrow in the Pre-season friendly at Birmingham's training ground in 2021.

Re: New signings
Said on the Social we are having a smaller squad next season so can`t see many new signings maybe 5/6 should be enough.

We wouldn't even have the players to fill a benchbehind the goals wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 4:49 pm Said on the Social we are having a smaller squad next season so can`t see many new signings maybe 5/6 should be enough.

We need to sign 12 as a minimum.

Re: New signings
Can’t believe nobody has mentioned James Bailey yet. Another successful season , a local who loves the area. What are we waiting for? Surely we’d rather pay his wages and it not pay off than Shamalo who has no connection to the area
Re: New signings
Alex NEWBY is a very good shout.
Re: New signings
Jamie Walker just been released by Bradford, quite a few of their fans can't believe hes not been offered a new deal.

Not 15/16
Re: New signings
Not a bad shout. Could maybe be offered a short term deal to see how he gets on. Clearly knows where the net is after scoring 26 this season (albeit against much weaker opposition than we play).BarrowLad71 wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 8:37 pm Can’t believe nobody has mentioned James Bailey yet.
