Well I’m quick to come here and slate how poor we have been at different parts of he season. I honestly before today couldn’t predict where our next goal or point was coming from. To score four without reply against the top of the league has knocked me for six, somebody please explain. The game today was like a top of the league side against a relegation nailed on side. Did the ref ask each team to swap kits? What a great performance and a much needed 3pts to add to our fight to stay in the Football League. Today I applaud the whole team and management and fingers crossed for he next 5 vital games. Play like today and there can’t be a team in we can’t play and get something from the game. Well done all today, board, manager, players and fans. FGR I know you are a better team than that shoreline today and you will be itching to put things right in your next game on Monday, their opponents need to watch out

Well that was an unexpected treat. Pretty much the first time this season we've looked like a proper team.
As others have said, the key was a couple of midfield players in Beadling and Gotts who got aound the pitch quickly and allowed Rooney to play plus a very sound defensive performance other than somebody going missing in the first half when the Forest Green player was put clear with a long punt and Farman saved the day.
IF this type of performance can be sustained then we will avoid relegation but I'll wait until after the Salford match before going overboard.
Platt, Gotts and Rooney absolutely outstanding with Platt MOM for me. Unsurprisingly, 2 of those 3 from out National League team. Great to see Platt getting back to his NL form. He's been improving since Brown replaced Cooper and today was his best game of the season.
We've been terrible at defending corners and free-kicks this season but today we were excellent and Forest Green were awful which made a nice change.
Shows how unpredictable football can be. I wouldn't have bet on us scoring 4 goals in the remaining 6 matches including today's and we got 4 in the first! Long may it continue.

Should have been there today but had plans spoiled by Covid, so appreciated the great coverage more than ever.

Had a look at the history of Scunny. They have been a league club for 72 years. Barrow were kicked out in 72. One of those things that happen.
