Lovely to hear David Bayliss on Comms I'm sure in an interview last year he did with Cumbria he had a son coming through professionally can anyone remember his son's name and who he plays for?

His son is Joe and unlike his dad is over 6ft tall.

With a sold out away end the main stand all but sold out it’s got to be a 5k plus attendance

What a great picture of Adam with Dave Bayliss. Dave is up there with Ray Wilkie as being one of those rare breeds, a former manager who exudes a genuine feeling for the football club. He wasn't here just picking up a salary before disappearing and pretty much forgetting about us. Good on you, Dave Bayliss, top man.

Have a couple of great memories of Dave Baylis. Obviously the famous celebration of Jason Walkers pile driver in the Trophy final was one.

However my fondest memory (not involving potential violence) was watching his behaviour during the play-off final against Stalybridge at close hand- a man living every second of the game as if it might be his last. True legend.

It makes one think about the 'fickle finger of fate'. Stalybridge are now in Northern Premier League. What might have happened to them and us if that goal had not gone in off Matt Henney's knee and they had made it to the National League?

22 matches, match number 1st on left hand side.

My son was with me last night and hasn't seen Barrow in a while and he was very impressed with our work ethic and running. Those stats above are testament to that.

The commentators were constantly saying we (Crewe) have a weakend side and could not understand why Barrow only had 6 substitutes and why Barrow had used so many of them, very unprofessional and did not understand the rules re subs and were baffled why we used them.

The commentators were clowns who would not admit they got beat by a better team.

It was interesting to hear Dave Bailey when asked by Adam if the players were going to refuse to play because they had not been paid.
I think Bailey realised how strapped the club was for cash.
When he was sacked I believe he did not push for his full compensation but came to a agreement with Brian Keen another unsung hero.
