Why is everyone so desperate for him to leave? Cox is clearly his own man, and obviously feels Meeks can be useful in the short-term. I'm guessing there isn't enough to moan about this week...

I imagine he will be leaving when Cox gets his staff in place, people he wants might be under contract elsewhere

Maybe some people delight in the thought of others losing their job?

Should have gone involved in getting players here, tactics team selection etc. and if he wasn`t what was he getting paid for?

If edmo goes this decision doesn`t make sense!

Was useless with the youth set up and development centre as well, never saw much of him and even saw less of Edmo apart from the 1st meeting and get together when they promised the earth.Should have gone with Edmo and made the clean break and put no connection with the old regime, the players and the new manager.

Always reminded me of the David Steel puppet on Spitting Image.

I've heard on the grape he's been put in charge of sorting the shop out. Don't you think he resembles ex chelski man frankly Zola ? I do

Not to bothered about him staying.
With Edmo his role was assistant manager, I don't know how much match day input he had with tactics, team selection etc.
I think he will be more in a coaching role under cox.
You never know, how many people thrive under a new manager at work with different guidance?
