Is it likely that the trust will be running a bus to this one? It not is anyone driving that would give me a lift? Thanks

No chance of a bus IMO, there's 20 odd flying down and a couple of cars were being sorted.

There will be no Trust Travel bus for Torquay. Hodgsons have informed us they do not have enough drivers to be able to take us.

With many regular travelling fans having already made their own plans to get to Torquay, at Steve mentions it is not viable to run a bus to this match.

No Al. Don't think anyone was interested.

Me and my mate have found a cheap hotel 5 minutes from ground but trouble is we can't book anything until we find travel and the train is much too expensive

You could try splitting tickets at the likes of Lancaster, Brimingham, Crewe/Wolverhampton, Exeter and/or Bristol but I suspect you might not find much if any of of a saving on this route

Lancaster - London; London to Torquay by megabus. About £30 return. Go Friday, come back Sunday.

Aii good shout Dave.

Just checked and if you're an NUS member (which I think you might be Josh as are you a student?) then you can do Lancaster>Torquay and back for £24 Friday to Sunday. Then add a tenner to get to Lancaster and bobs your uncle.

You'd have to get the very early one down on Friday morning and set off back from Torquay very early on the Sunday, but you'd get to spend a few hours (6ish) sightseeing in London, and for £35 quid return Barrow>Torquay you can't complain.

For anyone travelling from the London area to Torquay, the cheapest (albeit slowest) option is to buy a South West Trains summer promo day return ticket to Exeter (£15.00 - no further railcard reductions) then a return from Exeter to Torquay (£6.70, less any railcard reduction).

Note that the £15.00 tickets must be bought from SWT (at stations, or through their website or telesales) by the previous day at the latest; they are not restricted to specific trains.

A group of us are travelling on the 08.20 from Waterloo; feel free to join us.
