Hannah gone!
Signed for Chester! Shame really, wasn't given a chance and couldn't work out why we had signed him! Best of luck to him!

Best f luck to the lad, never quite worked out, our way of playing didn't suit him. Thanks to him.

Re: Hannah gone!
Like Ashley Grimes, he was massively under used.
When Bennett was playing his 50th consecutive 90 minutes of the season he could have been handy. Shame he was a decent ball player.

Shame it didn't work out here for him, wishing him all the best for the future
Just my opinion
Re: Hannah gone!
Wish Ross all the very best for his future! It is a shame it never worked out for him at Barrow AFC, though he remained Professional throughout.

But unlike Ashley Grimes he could actually play, run and make some effort! The Real Slim a former member of this forum wrote:Like Ashley Grimes, he was massively under used.

Making effort is fine but he will never be anywhere near Grimes in terms of qualityrussell_anderson wrote:But unlike Ashley Grimes he could actually play, run and make some effort! The Real Slim a former member of this forum wrote:Like Ashley Grimes, he was massively under used.

I'm afraid that's complete nonsense. I should have added that it's only from what I've seen of the 2 of them. The Real Slim a former member of this forum wrote:Making effort is fine but he will never be anywhere near Grimes in terms of qualityrussell_anderson wrote:But unlike Ashley Grimes he could actually play, run and make some effort!

Re: Hannah gone!
Always liked his attitude, he could've sulked when sat on the bench most of the season but he didn't and was always fired up when he came on. Chester have their talisman back and we have a striker to suit Cox's style. Everyone wins really.
Good luck Ross

Grimes was even more under used by Southport last season playing 4 less games than when at Barrow. The Real Slim a former member of this forum wrote:Like Ashley Grimes, he was massively under used.

I think that tells it's own story.

Re: Hannah gone!
Reputation aside, his finishing was pretty poor in the (home) games I saw him feature in.
Nice lad though and I'm sure regular first team football will help him get his eye in.
Good luck Ross...

Re: Hannah gone!
As others have said, he never once spit the dummy out over the lack of starts and always looked as though he gave it his all whenever he did get on the pitch.
Wish him all the best and hope the move back to Chester works out well for him.
Do find it odd that he left Chester last season because they could only offer a one year deal and he wanted the security of more at Barrow, yet twelve months on they have managed to offer a two year deal.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Could have been a 'panic' move as allegedly Wrexham were poised to offer him a one year deal when their neighbours snatched him away, spirit of 1990 wrote:As others have said, he never once spit the dummy out over the lack of starts and always looked as though he gave it his all whenever he did get on the pitch.
