Casson out!
Andrew needs to go. He smacks me as a spoilt boy playing games with the club I love. Time for someone with a football brain to push this club forward.
The appointment of Moore was shit, his comments in the paper saying moore wasn't a bad appointment was shit and I cannot think of one positive he has contributed to this club.
Moore was sacked because he underperformed - why should the young pretender be any different!
Book a flight, time to go junior,

Re: Casson out!
Agreed, needs to do the decent thing for the future of the club and let someone more experienced with football knowledge sort the mess out because he has had a good try and is failing painfully
Re: Casson out!
Andrew Casson has been making some strategical decisions over the last number of months to benefit the business side of the football club. Looking into help from students studying degrees in relevant areas that Barrow need help with to grow, as per his presentation the other week.
As fans of the club we should be supporting these decisions. It needs to be realised that Barrow is no longer a fans based club! They can’t keep everyone happy, no football club can.
Yes we don’t want to watch the club be relegated but whether people like the decisions being made or not, they are being made and just because everything is done behind closed door doesn’t mean nothing is being done!

Re: Casson out!
Do we really need students as a professional club. I was a student 2 years ago and I never met a single person who was capable, qualified or had the experience which would assist a professional football club who don't have the infrastructure to support them.
And on the 7th day god created football

Re: Casson out!
Its not about the football, its he business side, admin, social media etc etc.. all moves the people on the forum have been wanting and spouting about for years and now someone has taken the bull by the horns and trying to make us better, is now accused of being useless? some of the young generation as well as mature students with life and business experience can bring a lot to our club! Mind boggles at people who get what they ask for and then moan like [SwearFilter] about it when action has been takenbigmac95 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 2:03 pm Do we really need students as a professional club. Re: Casson out!
They need them because they don't cost anything, or are cheap. You then you dress it up with a lot of Corporate bullshit as though the club is benefitting the local community. Hogwash!
How many people have left AFC since the appointment of Andrew Casson in job he was nowhere near qualified to do?
Re: Casson out!
If some people on this forum looked beyond the performance on the pitch and took an interest in other aspects it would come to their attention that a lot has gone on over this closed season. There has been partnerships developed with the National League and a University called UCFB (University College of Football Business). The students involved with this institution are learning about the football business, the side that Andrew Casson is improving. I therefore believe a long with many others that students are the way forward. They are cheap correct, but they still have the ability to bring knowledge, experience and new ideas to the table which is what this club needs to grow and mature. There are a number of students from this establishment, under graduates and post graduates that are working at all levels of football, both league and non league.

I appreciate what your saying but the majority of posters on here care about our football team (as much as that is) you can dress it up as you want but his footballing decisions have been an absolute disaster ( that includes the way the youth coaches were treat ).mr_grey wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 4:54 pm If some people on this forum looked beyond the performance on the pitch and took an interest in other aspects it would come to their attention that a lot has gone on over this closed season. Re: Casson out!
"Now then Mr. Student Applicant - what experience do you have?"
"I learnt everything I know at a football club"
"Which one?"
"Barrow"
"Haven't they just been relegated and lost the best part of two million pounds in two years?"
"Yes"
"Next!"
