for me the core of the teams good - so not as many changes as usual;-

keep;- Dixon, Granite, Jones, Barthram, Hird, Kay, Taylor, Hardcastle. Hindle, Turner
try to sign;- Jameson, Norrington Davies (maybe another season loan is our best chance?),
undecided (invite to pre-season) ;- Rooney, Blythe, Elsden, Philpot, Waterston, Angus, Jennings
release;- Saltmer, Brown, Molynieux, Wilson
the U-21 players i'm assuming will at least be in that set up next season

Molyneux- not good enough
Brown - we can do better as a 1st choice rb

Blyth - doesnt score enough
Kay - on a pretty penny i bet and hasnt lived up to expectations
Bathram - nice lad, wont come cheap. We can do better

Invite granite, elsden, waterston and hird back pre season to prove fitness.

They may not be in contact for next year so may end up getting released. If they do have another year to run i would be surprised if we got them back on loan as the parent club would probably want to see if they could perform at L2 level. I very much doubt either of them will make it anywhere near their parebt club 1st teams. If they get released they are both better off doing a season at national league and playing games

For me it’s team consistency, and balance, not individual positions. On our day, we’ve been as good as anyone else I think, but playing a quite different style to most of the direct “big man up front” teams in this league. So for me it’s finding that consitency next season.

Pretty much this, with a question mark next to Josh Granite. I like him but he’ll have look like he’s over his run of injuries. We’ve carried a fair few like that this season.
Steve Jennings & Jack Hindle should be very important squad players...if they’d accept they probably won’t be first choice starters.

Definitely need a step up regards a striker.

of the people i'd like to come in there were 2 players in the England v Wales non league international who looked interesting;-

Luke Trotman - a right back/wing back from Darlington looked good (aged 21) - can run all day and cross the ball well.
Kurt Willoughby striker with FC United - scored for England and 18 goals for a struggling FC United team - may well leave them if they get relegated as looks likely (aged 21)

I agree too.....manager and players read this....
A much improved season from the team and management.
IE not happy with mid table.....He will have the whole of pre season this time around unlike last year.
Looking at the players he has brought in he knows what he wants.
Let's trust his judgement, He got it right this season with very little preparation.
With all the off field things going on its looking brighter than it has done for years....
