New Teams next season - who do we want?

As League 2, NLN and NLS are also near the end of the season who would be best for us to have in our league next season;-

In League 2 it looks like 2 from Yeovil, Macclesfield and Notts County to come down - and given that Yeovil is miles away Macclesfield and Notts County would be the obvious choices.
In NLS our old friends Torquay are virtually guaranteed to come up. Woking, Welling, Chelmsford, Bath, Dartford and Wealdstone are currently in the play off spots - none of them would bring big numbers to Holker Street.
In NLN it's Stockports or Chorley for the title and the other play off teams will probably be;- Brackley, Spennymoor, Altrincham, Telford and Bradford PA.

Personally i'd like Macclesfield, Notts County, Torquay, Bath, Chorley and either Stockport or Altrincham.

Thoughts anyone?

Selfishly Macclesfield because it’s a club fairly close to us, & Notts County as I think that’d be a good one to travel to.

Always had a soft spot for Chorley from our clashes from many years ago, so them for me. Probably Alty for the same reason as above although I wouldn’t be disappointed with Stockport gaining promotion.

Hopefully Torquay but not bothered who joins them.

Would like to see Chorley up as they have been so close last couple seasons. Altrincham coming into form at the right time in the run in. Torquay and Woking from National South.
I just can’t see Notts County slipping out the league, and think they’ll have a last day escape, with Macc and Yeovil dropping out, replaced by Salford and Orient.

Probably get that all wrong.

Nerves have really kicked in at Leyton Orient.....currently losing at home again.
That could be 4 games on the trot without a win....seemed to be coasting a couple of weeks ago.
Hated them when they were up here a few weeks ago. Justin Edinburgh was moaning at everything.

Like it or not I suspect Yeovil might be coming our way next season. They've been plummeting for a while. If they are going to survive I suspect they'll need to beat Crawley on Saturday. If they do, then dont rule out a trip to Gatwick next season either as Crawley are also in danger of getting sucked in with Macc and Notts County now picking up points.

Whilst Chorley, Stockport or Alty would provide easy access away fixtures, dont forget any of these sides in the CN will be competing with us for the same player pool. Be careful what you wish for.

Otherwise main thing is both Orient and Salford move out of this League. Their budgets are too big. A National League without them next season could be really competitive.

Alty a definite for me. Apart from living near them a chance to get them back for beating us 1-0 a few years ago when we totally outplayed them and to rib some of my mates who are regulars there.

As for the rest :-
Chorley or Stockport is fine with me
Macc and Notts County - as they are easy to get to and Salford to stay down so I can also get to that game easily (Leyton O & Eastleigh to go up so there are less southern teams in the league)
From the south its Torquay (as its a nice place) & anybody else but Woking!

Oh yes and Man city as they are demoted 4 divisions for cooking their books and we then stuff them home and away with more Barrow fans at the Emtyhad (however that would be nothing new)

My house is about the same walking distance to the Wealdstone ground than my mum and dads house in barrow is to holker street (about 20 min walk).. would love to step out at 2:30 and have a casual walk to go and watch the bluebirds again. Maybe earlier for a few pints beforehand

Apart from that, i'll be happy with any team as long as they kindly give us 3 points

There taking huge away followings this season, there a league club in every thing,well nearly.From the south hopefully someone different, maybe Bath. Think last time we played wealdstone was 80s,I’m pretty sure stuart pearce was playing.

from memory (and i might be wrong) Wealdstone had a virtually full team of people who tackled like Staurt Pearce and were one of the dirtiest teams i've ever seen.
on the plus side though the "Wealdstone Raider" is hillarious....

We lost in trophy to them in 2012, it was cold, and Danny Hurst hurt his head.
